Misery

" Have you ever read a story where the Hero saves the damsel in distress or the Hero falls in love with a citizen and they fight their way to a safe love but this is not their story but mine. During the year I was born children got powers and I was one of them, I was happy at first of course but I didn't know the toll it would take on my life and I would become dangerous. My powers made me emotioally unstable when I was mad I would burn things when I was sad  I would give people my pain and so I hated my powers but what could a 5 year old hate and love? Then came a dauy that haunts till now, the day that I killed my parents and it was on accident but it felt like i wanted them dead. We were driving home from school on the way we went for dinner so t was really late and I was tired, Mom and Dad were both on the phone while I was colouring in the back seat it was alright till my crayon fell towards my Mom's seat and I tried reaching but I couldn't with my small arms.
"Mommy!" I yelled but she didn't turn head, I called her out at least 5 times and she didn't answer case she was too busy with her call
"Dadddy!!!!" I yelled to him but he was the same with Mom, I was getting frustrated with them and my anger begn to pent up so I yelled using my power which destroyed all the car windows and my Dad looked at me with anger only to not see the truck headlights coming towards us.

The next thing I remember was waking up in the hospital with my Uncle standing on the side of my bed then him telling me that my parents were dead, thats when I knew how dangerous my powers were so from that day I lived with my Uncle but it was more different than with my parents cause he was always drunk, every night he threw stuff at me when he saw me and sometimes he'd beat me up but when I told my teachers they said I was delusional or I was making it all up no one belived me no matter what I did or said and I became worse when my Uncle found out I was telling people, He beat me up so bad that couldn't walk for a whole week. In all of this I never used my powers not even to get away from him but it all changed when I was 12, I came home from school and my uncle was asleep on the couch since I didn't want to wake him up I snuck up to my room and did my home work when it was diner time I made food for both for both of us but I accidently burned the fried chicken and as a punishment he put my face to the pan I made it in that was hot, I screamed in pain but he didn't do anything thats when I lashed out in power and killed my Uncle, at first I was scared someone couldv'e seen but he was ashes on the ground and the pain on my left cheek was healed but left a scar.

I ran away from that place since I had no family left I had to live on my own, surving wasn't easy there were nights I starved or could die from the cold but I had a little luck, when I was 13 I met a boy a year older than me and he had powers, we became friends really quick and started taking care of each other his name was Valkur even though I thought it was funny name we had a lot in common and stayed together for only a year and one day he was gone nd I never found or saw him again. I knew everyone would leave me or in the end I would kill them thats how my life went till I met a very kind woman named Kate, she took me home and gave me a place to stay she raised me like her own daughter an for the first time in a long time I was happy but only to find out I was a replacement for her dead daughter. Even the truth hurt I stayed with her till I was 18 I finally left free ad on my own, I had scars of my past but I still smiled to others and didn't use my powers but like every turn in my Life something bad was going to happen I could feel it nd my name is Viper(btw)"

Viper stood in darkness she could feel 7 shadows surrounding her but all she could hear were whispers and screams from them making her bend down and closing her hears then she opened her brown eyes that were being covered by her blanket and sat up in her bed, Her long black hair touched her pillows while her long arms touched her covers she wasn't tired but lazy, she stepped on to the cold floor and walked to her bathroom, she started undressing, her scars were very long but somehow healed, she changed into her clothes and picked her bag, she locked her apartmant while holding her stuff, she lived in a rural area of Destiny City. Destiny City was one of the biggest city in the world but it's a big city with Heros and Villains so crime rate is high making it a very dangerous city but not for Viper she was comfortable in such a place since she had been through alot. Viper worked at a Cafe in the middle of the city, this was her only job that didn't give her aot of money but enough for bills at her place.
"Good morning" her co-worker said, her name was Janice, blond long hair , blue eyes typical woman in her early 20's
"Good morning Janice" Viper smiled as she put on her apron, she always held a smile for everyone so she could hide her brokeness away from people, as she started writting menus and specials on the board outside, she put her hair up in a ponytail and started using the chalk in her hand
"Did you see the news?" Janice asked
"I don't own a tv, remember?" Viper answered
"Whatever, the H.S saved the day once again, right on my street!!! Captain Demtri next to my house!!!!" She squealed in happiness as she put menus on the tables outside
"Hero Squad? what happened on your street?"
"Apparently some villains were hiding out so they arrested them immediatly, they have a pla to make this city crime free, finally" Janice said as they both went inside, she continued talking about the Hero Squad, they were the city's Heros, 5 powerful hero's protecting the city and their Leader Captain Demtri was the most powerful of them all, he had the power of light manipulation while the others had normal things, stretching, flying, super strength adn super speed. Viper didn't really care for them much because she was too busy and she was never in a situation she needed their help. As the Cafe opened customers came in for the morning coffee and pastries, she held her smile as she handed everything out, cleaning tables and picking up tips this was her usual day here at the Cafe. She usually took the trash out with some food to a good friend of hers named Diddy, he was a street guy and this was his corner, since she was once like him she never turned people like him away
"Hey gurl!" the old african american said, his clothes were basiclly rags, big coats with holes and a hat on his head next to him was an old cart with his stuff inside
"Hey Diddy, customers didn't really eat alot so here" she handed him two hot cups of coffee and some pastries
"Thanks alot and you sure the owner won't mind?"
"Not at all, so hows life?
"Ah you knoow me, going back forth through places and got me a new place to sleep free blankets"he said happily
"That's great D"
"Yeah, and you didn't hear it from me but word on the street is there is a new Villain in town"
"New Villain?"
"Yeah, they don't have a name yet but He put the CAOS leader in his grave" CAOS were the villains of the city in a league of their own using their power for their own benifit causing caos and destruction
"Enough with the gossip, I have to get back to work, see ya around D"
"You too Viper" She walked back inside and went back to work while Janice had her eyes glued to the screen, it was the news channel
"I'm standing here live in downtown City where it seems that The H.S is up against the villain Boomer and it likes he is going to be defeated again by Captain Demtri but-" The reporter turned  around as her attention was caught by the shadows hold Captain Demtri and letting Boomer get away
"It seems another Villain has come in and this is very new I have never seen shadows in Destiney City" she continued, Demtri was then freed and the shadows were gone, the reporter ran up to the Captain
"Captain, how were you deafeated by shaows?" she asked
"This must be a new Villain in town but don't worry citizens we will protect you" Viper was somehow glued with Janice because Diddy's words rang through her head and wht he was saying was true, there really was a new Villain..........
