Heeseung and his family wielded immense power and influence in both the corporate and underworld realms of Korea. As the owners of Lee Corporation, the largest conglomerate in the country, they controlled a vast array of industries, from technology and manufacturing to finance and entertainment. Their business acumen and strategic investments had positioned them at the pinnacle of the economic landscape, making them key players in shaping market trends and policies.
Beyond their corporate dominance, the Lee family had deep ties to the mafia, which added a layer of intimidation to their already formidable reputation. This duality of power-legitimate business success intertwined with illicit activities created a network of loyalty and fear. Those who dared to cross them or challenge their authority faced severe repercussions, ranging from financial ruin to more violent consequences.
The family's influence extended into politics, law enforcement, and media, ensuring that their interests were protected and their image remained untarnished. Corruption and bribery were tools they wielded with precision, allowing them to maintain a facade of respectability while operating in the shadows.
In social circles, Heeseung and his family were both revered and feared. Their wealth afforded them a lifestyle of luxury, but it was their reputation that truly commanded respect. Whispers of their connections and the lengths they would go to protect their empire kept most at bay, ensuring that no one dared to speak out against them. In a society where power dynamics were often dictated by fear and loyalty, the Heeseung family stood as an unassailable force, a testament to the intertwining of wealth and influence in the modern world.
Heeseung had more power in his hands than other members of their family.
Heeseung was in his late twenties. But He didn't want to get married. But his father wanted him to get married. Their family had a great reputation, and Heeseung, the oldest son of the Lee family,y, was single till now and caused various rumors.

Heeseung sat in his father's office, surrounded by stacks of bio-data that Mr. Lee had meticulously organized. Each file contained a photo, a list of qualifications, and a brief description of the girl's personality. Mr. Lee was adamant about finding Heeseung a suitable partner, but Heeseung felt suffocated by the pressure not only from his family but also by everyone around him
"Dad, I don't think I'm ready for marriage," Heeseung sighed, leaning back in his chair. "I'm still figuring out my own life."
Mr. Lee, however, was relentless. "You're in your late twenties, Heeseung! It's time to settle down. You need someone to share your life with, someone who can help you grow."
Heeseung glanced at the pile of bio-data, feeling a wave of boredom wash over him. The same descriptions, the same expectations. All the women seemed to be after his wealth and his power.
Heeseung sighed, glancing at the glossy photos. Each woman smiled back at him, but he felt no connection, no spark. They all seemed to be cut from the same cloth, their eyes glinting with ambition that had little to do with love. He was tired of the same routine-work, meetings, parties, the endless stream of admirers, girls doing everything as he says, chasing him for his power, look and money felt like a monotonous routine to him
In a moment of impulsiveness, he decided to play along. "Fine, I'll pick one," he said, rolling his eyes. He randomly selected a file from the stack, barely glancing at the picture before handing it to his father.
Mr. Lee's eyes lit up. "Great choice! She's beautiful and comes from a good family. I'll set up a meeting."
The girl in the photo was indeed stunning, with long, flowing hair and a captivating smile. But it didn't affect Heeseung a bit. He met way more beautiful girls in his life. They are all the same.
"No, need." Heeseung stood up to leave his father's office. He wasn't interested in meeting the girl, it would make him more bored. He could say the girl wasn't an exception from the girls he met in the past just looking at her picture once.
"But-" Mr. Lee tried to convince Heeseung but before he could say anything. Heeseung interrupted.
"Do you want me to repeat, Dad?" Heeseung expression was as cold as ice.
Heeseung didn't even look at Mr. Lee and left the office.
Mr. Lee sighed. He knew if he forced him, Heeseung would say no to marriage. So better to do what Heeseung said.

The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm golden hue over the room as Mr. Kim sat at his desk, reviewing some documents. The atmosphere was filled with a mix of anticipation and nervous energy. He had been waiting for news from Mr. Lee regarding his daughter Sooha's bio-data, which he had submitted with the hope of not only securing a potential match for her but also fostering a business relationship.
Just then, the phone rang, breaking the silence. Mr. Kim's heart raced as he picked it up, recognizing Mr. Lee's number on the caller ID. "Hello, Mr. Lee," he greeted, trying to keep his voice steady.
"Good evening, Mr. Kim," Mr. Lee replied, his tone warm and cheerful. "I hope you're doing well."
"I'm doing well, thank you. I was just thinking about you," Mr. Kim said, a hint of eagerness creeping into his voice.
There was a brief pause on the line, and Mr. Lee cleared his throat. "I have some wonderful news to share with you. Heeseung has chosen Sooha as his partner."
Yes, the picture Heeseung had chosen was Sooha's picture.
Mr. Kim's heart skipped a beat. A wave of joy washed over him, and he could hardly believe what he had just heard. "Really? That's fantastic! I'm so happy to hear that!" he exclaimed, a broad smile spreading across his face.
"Yes, indeed! Heeseung was very impressed with Sooha's bio-data and her qualities. We believe they would make a great match," Mr. Lee lied, Heeseung didn't even look at Sooha's picture twice. Mr. Lee didn't want to make things awkward between to families.
Mr. Kim felt a rush of relief and excitement. This was not just a personal victory for his daughter but also a significant step towards the business collaboration he had envisioned. "Thank you so much for considering Sooha. I truly appreciate it," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.
"Of course, Mr. Kim. I believe this partnership will be beneficial for both families," Mr. Lee replied, his tone reassuring.
"Yes, and I think it would be great if Heeseung and Sooha met before their wedding. They will be able to know each other." Mr. Kim's voice contains excitement.
Mr. Lee wasn't sure how to reply to this. Heeseung didn't want to meet Sooha. Even if he forced Heeseung would never go to meet Sooha rather he can dismiss the wedding if Mr. Lee pressures him more.
"Umm...Mr. Kim, I don't think it will be possible. Heeseung is really busy with his work nowadays. I think you will understand what I mean." Mr. Lee said his voice was steady and firm
"Ahh..okay. I can understand. There is no need to meet before the wedding if they agreed to the marriage." Mr. Kim tried his best to sound convinced.
"Thanks for your understanding." Mr Lee hung up the phone.
A relief washed over Mr. Kim. He had been waiting for this moment for a long time. If Sooha gets married to Heeseung. It will bring a lot of new opportunities for his company. His company wasn't in its best position for a few years. So this marriage was so important for his company.
He left the office immediately to tell this good news to Sooha and her mother.
