Ch. 1 - The Human and the Mermaid
It was a sunny day, and I was in my favorite spot, laying down.
"The sun is wonderful today as well, perfect for lazing around," I said after letting out a content sigh.
'Nature's natural song, the chirping of birds, the whistling of wind, the splashing of the water, the loud noise from below, the-.... loud noise from below? "I frowned as I looked below, I see people yelling and throwing things into the water.
"What the hell are they doing? Don't they know that they might anger the mer-- !?!?" I was interrupted by the shaking of the ground.
"Fools...," a loud sound reverberated the area, and the water tides were rising... tides? It was a lake..? I frowned in confusion.
The water in the lake overflowed, as if something big was pushing it off the lake... and there was. A mermaid, bigger than our 50-foot building.
"..."
"..well shit."

"Fools, you dare to attack one of my people," the beautiful but terrifyingly huge mermaid said.
"....wait, THEY WERE THROWING THINGS TO A MERMAID?!" I yelled, alerting the giant mermaid.
We maid eye contact, and I felt a blush appear in my face.
"...hi..?" I said, flustered. She just stared at me in silence and then frowned.
"You."
"...me?"
"..."
"...", 'well this is akward,' I thought.
"What did you say?" she said in a threatening voice. 'Oh boy, I'm screwed.'
"Ummm... 'well shit'...?" I said in confusion, trying to remember.
"AFTER THAT," she said angrily.
"Oh! Uh, they were thro... wing..stuff at....a..mer...maid..."I struggled to finish my sentence after I realized. 'Shit.'

She was silent, but I could feel her killing intent. I was terrified, but I was blushing, and my heart was racing. I gathered all my courage to try and calm this gigantic lady in front of me to not destroy our home.
"... I-"
"-sigh"
"?......!!!!" she grabbed me suddenly and dragged me underwater before freeing the mermaid below and splashing the offenders to another universe.
'I'm so dead,' I thought as she swam like a missle while dragging me deeper down the lake.

After what felt like hours, I fainted after losing air.
"......an"
".....man"
"?"
"..."
"HUMAN!!"
"AHH!," I screamed.
I see a beautiful lady standing in front of me. Beautiful and smooth light pink hair, ruby red eyes, fair skin accompanied by her bikini decorated with pearls.
"Finally, you're awake, human," she said.
"Wait... you sound familiar..." I said after hearing her voice clearly.
