Chapter 9: Days in row, I'm thinking I know - I've got a bit faith....

Start from the beginning

Overall, I tried to not comment a lot on the movie, you know, to not spoil a lot... It was two and a half hours long, so we might have killed some time. There were only a few hours until 'nighttime'.

I left the living room to take a shower. I have a high hygiene standard, I can't stay dirty for a single second! I prefer showering with colder water and that's from, like... three days.

I was applying shampoo to my hair, when the shower thoughts hit me (like a car). What if Marley fails to save someone tonight? No, I'm pretty sure that Minji will die, she revealed her role out of the blue! She should save her. It's logical that the Murderer or whoever else would want her gone - to not sabotage their plans. But what if they kill someone else instead? No, unlikely. That would be impossible. What if I get killed? I mean, I don't get to spy on people, nor heal them - I'm just a survivor! If they kill me, then that would be personal. Why would you kill a survivor? Is your bar really that low? Killing innocent people? Then, again, we are all forced to be here by some individual. I don't know who they are, neither their motives behind this. I thought I was getting a phone call about sponsorship! I would have expanded the arena even more! I have enough money for myself to live very comfortably, but not for such drastic expansions. However, if I expand it more... I could host competitions there! I should think about this later.

I haven't even realized how I spent twenty minutes in the bathroom. That's a lot, for me.

I changed into pajamas and decided to check out if someone is in the living room. There were, in fact - Prasiddhi, Evelyn and Haneen. They were playing cards. No, not UNO. They were playing with normal cards. Uh, I think you get what I mean.

I decided to approach them and inquire.

"What are you playing?"

"Go Fish. I just found these cards lying somewhere around." - Prasiddhi replied.

"I didn't notice cards like these around before." - I commented. I swear there were only UNO cards around here! When and from where did these even appear from? Perhaps I haven't noticed them before... "Well, can I join you then? For a round or two..."

"Sure, we were getting cards for each other, so you can join."

I drew five cards from the pool. I had an Ace of Hearts, Five of Spades, Five of Hearts, Queen of Diamonds and Jack of Spades. Haneen would start, then it would be my turn, then Evelyn's and at the end, Prasiddhi's.

"Eve, do you have any Aces?" - Haneen started, to which the asked girl replied:

"Go fish."

Haneen drew a card. It was my turn.

"Haneen, any Aces?"

She looked at me a little annoyed and handed me two Aces. Now I need one more and I can make a book with those Aces. It's my turn again.

"Prasiddhi, Queens?"

"Fish."

I drew a card. It was a Three of Diamonds.

"Jean! Do you have any fours?"

"Go fish."

We did a few more full circles. Eventually, the first one with a book was Haneen, with sevens.

Well, 'was', because the lights went out... early. I am pretty sure there were a few more hours! This is slightly weirding me out.

"Wasn't it like 10 pm?!" - Evelyn commented a little shocked.

"It is. Are they now trying to lower their electricity bills even more?" - said Prasiddhi. I chuckled to this.

"If that's the case..."
