Y/N sat at the dining table, engaged in conversation with her father. They awaited the arrival of her father's friend and his family for dinner. Soon, a man of similar age to the father arrived, extending a hand in greeting to both Y/N and her father. The man then introduced his wife and child. Y/N was taken aback to see Draco, and Draco, equally surprised, immediately pointed at Y/N's face.

"What are you doing here, loser?" Draco inquired, his tone laced with irritation.

Y/N rolled her eyes. "I believe the question should be directed at you, you imbecile," she retorted.

Draco crossed his arms and smirked at her.

"Tsk, mind your tongue, princess. You're in my house now," he warned.

"So what? I'll be leaving soon enough, rather than enduring the sight of your face," Y/N countered.

Draco chuckled and leaned closer to her.

"Oh, you're quite spirited. I enjoy your defiance, princess," he said with a hint of amusement.

Meanwhile, both Y/N's and Draco's parents observed their children with a mixture of amusement and concern. The palpable tension between them was evident, and they anticipated an interesting evening.

Draco attempted to conceal his smirk, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at eliciting a reaction from Y/N. He scrutinized her, taking in her features and posture.

After dinner, Draco's parents excused themselves to the living room, leaving Draco and Y/N alone in the dining room. An awkward silence settled between them, the tension thick in the air.

Draco, unable to bear the silence any longer, leaned back in his chair and looked at Y/N, a smirk still playing on his lips.

"So, you'll be staying here for a while, huh? Might as well get comfortable," he remarked.

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Comfort eludes me when you're present, you imbecile. I simply wish to return home."

Draco chuckled again, finding amusement in her irritation.

"Oh, don't be so eager to escape my presence, princess. We're bound together for the night, whether you approve or not," he said.

Y/N crossed her arms and huffed, her annoyance escalating.

"I couldn't care less about our shared predicament. I simply desire to return home and erase this evening from memory," she declared.

Meanwhile, Draco's parents engaged in quiet conversation in the living room, occasionally casting glances at their children with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. They could discern the tension emanating from the dining room, recognizing that the two were still engaged in a heated exchange.

Draco continued to observe Y/N, his gaze unwavering. He found her stubbornness and feistiness rather entertaining. Leaning forward in his chair, he rested his chin on his hand.

"You know, princess," he remarked, "you're not making this any easier for yourself. Perhaps a more amicable approach would be beneficial."

"Well, that could only happen if you were being pleasant yourself," Y/N retorted, offering him a sarcastic smile before rolling her eyes.

Draco raised an eyebrow at her response, his smirk widening into a grin.

"Oh, don't be so quick to judge, princess. I can be quite pleasant when I choose to be," he countered.

He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms and studying her intently.

Draco's parents continued to observe the exchange between their children, exchanging amused glances. They could tell that their children were at odds, but they also found the banter between them quite entertaining.

In the living room, Draco's parents engaged in a hushed conversation with Y/N's parents, discussing the marriage arrangement between their children.

Draco's father remarked, "This marriage arrangement presents a favorable opportunity for both our families. It will strengthen our connections and enhance our power and influence."

Draco's mother agreed, "Indeed, it is a suitable match. Both our children are exceptionally talented and intelligent. It is unfortunate that they exhibit such stubbornness and difficulty in their interactions."

Y/N's father responded, "They will learn to coexist eventually. We simply need to ensure they remain in close proximity for a period of time."

Y/N's mother added, "I concur. It is preferable for both our children to acclimate to each other now rather than being complete strangers on their wedding day."

"Yes, it is true," Draco's father agreed. "We cannot expect them to fall in love instantly, but at least they can learn to tolerate each other."

Meanwhile, Draco and Y/N, lost in their own thoughts, were oblivious to the conversation between their parents. They remained seated in silence, but both were aware that their parents were discussing a matter of significance.
