the aftermath of first mafia missions

Start from the beginning

"There's no seduction whatsoever for what I will be doing." Cha Young speaks.

Vincenzo looks at her.

"She's right." His head snaps back to his father.

"You are going with the aim to strike him fancy. You will lull him into a conversation by using seductive tactics and then lead him towards an empty room. And you're telling me this isn't seduction!?"

Cha Young places her hands on her hips.

"It isn't."

He scoffs.

"Vincenzo."

He turns to look at his father.

"You will be there."

He lets out a miserable sigh.

As if that makes anything better.

Back to the present, Luca's telling her instructions and informing her their locations-where they will be standing and all the necessary jargon she must know.

Her eyes slide to where he stands, ignoring her completely and avoiding her to the max.

The only time he spoke was in the dressing room.

She thought he'd finally start speaking.

She was wrong.

If it was him, he'd lock himself in a room and sulk.

He's sulking.

And then they're at the scene, a grand ball starring rich, classic people, dressed to the nines and she sees the man Antonio Girodano too.

Vincenzo and Luca stand away at her left and right as she smiles at the said man.

She catches everyone's gaze almost instantly.

That is quite pleasing and flabbergasting.

Antonio also looks quite pleased to see her, eyeing her up and down in what is an extremely disgraceful manner no matter how amicably he tries to portray himself to be.

Antonio comes after her as soon as the crowd is back to chatter sipping bubbles and wine.

He tries to strike up a conversation with her, fails miserably and Cha Young acts all flustered and engaged in his presence.

All innocuous, wooing and charming as she spikes his drink and then looks over to her left to let the two acknowledge.

They shift their positions close to where she and Antonio stand and then the man in front of her says.

"It's too crowded here."

She grins at his ugly face.

"It's a ball, it is supposed to be crowded."

He leans in closer to whisper in her ear.

"Too crowded for my liking."

Cha Young is alarmed as he steps into her personal space, however, her wide eyes just make the man more pleased, taking it as her being flustered by the proximity.

He sips from his glass while taking in her expression.

"Don't you think?"

She nods and sips her own drink, looking around to give them another signal.

A waiter passes by them and he takes her glass after placing his own on the tray, puts it on the tray too and moves his hand for her to take.

She looks at him, brows slightly raised to prove she's impressed when in reality, she'd like to throw up and then dreadfully places her hand in his as they walk past the crowd.
