Time Travel To The Past

Christmas Eve

In this story,the five clans-Wen,Lan,Jin,Nie and Jiang clan will actually exist and both Lihua and DaiYu will read about them in their high school textbooks.

It was the day of Christmas Eve. The entire Beijing was decorated with Christmas decorations. Excitement and happiness was evident in the faces of all people whether young or old. People were busy buying cakes and gifts for their loved ones. All the stores were packed with full of customers. Office workers were given an early leave to enjoy Christmas Eve with friends and family.

Yan Li hua and Ming Dai Yu were two employees working under the same company. They both are 29 years old,just Dai Yu being younger than Lihua by 1 month.
Coincidentally,Dai Yu and Li hua joined the company on the same day. They were just acquaintances at first but soon over time they became best friends.
They grew a strong bond within the 5 years of meeting each other. One couldn't be seen without the other.
Both of them have different personality and barely have any similarities but that's what makes them unique to each other.

"Yes!! It's finally going to be Christmas tomorrow!" Dai Yu exclaimed cheerfully while Li hua smiled at her excitement.

"So what do you wanna do?" Li hua asked.

"How about we decorate the Christmas tree and then bake cookies?? And your cookies are just so great!" Dai Yu replied cheerfully

"Alright. But first,I need to send a letter to my family..." Li hua said and her expressions became sad making Dai Yu frown

"A-hua,why do you still think about them so much?! All they ever gave you is misery!!" Anger was completely visible on Dai Yu's face.

Lihua's mother passed away in a car accident when she was just 5 years. Just after 1 year,her father remarried another woman who was then her step-mother. Her step-mother was never nice to her,and after her mother's death,her father barely paid any attention to how she was and being treated by his new wife. All he did was then cherish his step-son and daughter who were not less worse then their mother.

Lihua sadly smiled at what DaiYu said"I know,they didn't treat me good but A-Yu,my mother once cherished this family and to me she is very important"

"You know A-hua,you are quite lucky that you still got your mother's love. But look at me,I got neither my mother's love nor my father's love. I was just an orphan on the street untill I got adopted by an old couple who took me in. I will forever be grateful to them." Dai Yu said and looked up to the sky"I just hope that wherever they are,they are happy."

Dai Yu quickly wiped the lone tear that escaped down her cheeks and turned to look at Lihua

"Let's go over at my place,and do what you planned"Lihua said lifting up the environment a bit.

"Alright!" Said Dai Yu with a small smile.

Both reached Lihua's house. They got changed in their pajamas and together decorated the Christmas tree.

"This tree would look great with a few more ornaments" Dai Yu said putting the last ornament they bought on the tree.

"Then..can you go upstairs in the store room,there are decorations kept for the tree from last year" Lihua said while she put the lights on the tree

"Okay!I will be right back" Dai Yu said before going to the store room

The store room was dark and filled with boxies and dust everywhere. Dai Yu switched on the lights to get a better view of the room.

"Gosh,so much dust!! I should one day help Lihua in cleaning this room" Dai Yu said as dust swirled all around her.

After about 5 minutes of searching,she finally found the box of ornaments.
She quickly grabbed the box and went downstairs.

Lihua was already in the kitchen preparing the dough for the cookies.

"I found the box!"
Came DaiYu's voice

"Okay!You can start decorating. I will prepare the dough"

DaiYu was much focused on decorating the tree.She put her hand in the box and took out the ornament,each of them of different colour,shape and size.She was about to pick up the last ornament when something sharp pricked her fingers and blood started to come out.

"Ahhh!!"she cried at the sudden pain

Lihua who heard DaiYu's cries,ran out from the kitchen and saw her holding her finger.

"What happened??"Lihua asked and gently took hold of DaiYu's hand. Her eyes fell on her finger from which drops of blood was falling.

"Oh my!I completely forgot to tell you about the broken piece" Lihua said apologetically and ran upstairs to get the first aid box.

She then quickly came downstairs and applied some ointment before carefully putting the bandage.

"It was just a small cut. Nothing serious" DaiYu said after LiHua finished

"I am sorry...if only I told you before..."Lihua looked down at her lap feeling guilty

"Its alright A-hua...you didn't knew something like this would happen" DaiYu said and pulled LiHua in a hug.

DaiYu's eyes then fell on the box that LiHua had pushed aside in a hurry. The box now was emitting red light.

DaiYu let go of LiHua and walked towards the box. LiHua being confused just following her best friend. They both saw an old paper inside the box,which was emitting all the lights. Drops of blood had fallen on the paper. DaiYu picked it up and read out the characters that were written on the paper.

"Teleportation? What's this supposed to mean??" Lihua said confused.

Soon a huge amount of light emerged and engulfed both of them. And after that,soon fell out of consciousness.
