How To Date Your Enemy.

CHAPTER ONE

It was a beautiful morning and as usual the twins  were fighting. "Hurry girls your dad is waiting", said Ella, the mother of the twins.

When Ella saw that the twins were still not out of their room, she turned to Mia, her eldest daughter, who was the only person the twins really listened to. "I understand mom. I will bring them out before you know it." Mia said in resignation.

As Mia walked to the twins' room, she heard loud voices and she shook her head. "Alisha, I keep telling you not to put your clothes on my bed." Yelled Alexa as Mia approached the room.

Mia saw Alisha roll her eyes.

"I am so sorry, miss clean freak. But I wanted to arrange my bed." Alisha retorted. Alexa was about to reply when Mia thought she had seen enough.

"Didn't you guys hear mom? Mom said dad is waiting for us." Mia said in a reproaching voice. Alexa looked guilty while Alisha just sighed."We are sorry. We are on our way." The twins said simultaneously.

Mia waved bye to her dad as the twins enthusiastically hugged him (Mia's dad , Jake) goodbye.

"Girls... We should go. We don't want to be late now do we?" Mia said, rolling her eyes.

Alexa rolled her eyes in response too as the twins let go of Jake. "You know Mia...I am really tired of you treating us like five year olds. We can take care of ourselves just fine  can't we Alisha?" Alexa said as Jake drove away.

Alisha looked startled that Alexa had dragged her into the topic while Mia just looked unimpressed.

"Oh... Care to explain what you mean Alexa?" Mia asked in a stern time. Alexa immediately knew Mia was angry. The twins gulped simultaneously.

"Mia... She didn't mean it like that. Alexa just felt like you really should stop bossing us around like we are kids. I mean.... I get that we are still freshmen in high school and you are already in final year. But we just don't enjoy being treated like kids." Alisha said gently.

Mia tilted her head in confusion. I treat them like they are kids.... Me??

"Okay... I am so sorry but I think we should talk about this when we get home okay? I have got to go. Bye girls .... I love you." Mia said as soon as she saw Alice, her best friend , waving at her.

"Yeah, bye Mia." The twins said simultaneously and they parted ways with Mia.

"The twins were causing trouble again weren't they?" Alice said as she and Mia walked into the school hallways.

Mia sighed.

"Those girls are so troublesome... It takes me a lot of patience to live in the same house with them..." Mia said exasperated. Alice chuckled. "Are you sure it is the twins or... Alexa?" Alice said pointing at Alexa who was chattering away a few feet from them.

Mia laughed but then suddenly her head hit something hard....yet soft at the same time. Mia took two steps back and looked up. And her eyes fell on the most good looking guy she (Mia) had ever seen.

However, the guy was scowling down at her. "Are you f***king blind?" The guy yelled and every eye in the hallway turned to him and Mia.

Mia flinched at the use of a cuss words. "Can you calm down dude? She didn't see you. What crawled up your pants and died in it?" Alice said from behind Mia.

The guy, whoever he was, rolled his eyes. "Who called your into my business? Keep your ass out of my business." The guy retorted.

Just as Alice was about to reply, another angry voice yelled from behind the guy. "Yo dude, don't you talk to my sister like that, you asshole." Alexa yelled and the guy turned around.

The guy sighed and ran a hand to his head and Mia had to admit: he looked so sexy when he did that. What? Mia snap out of it. He just insulted you and your best friend.

"Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse, you bitches had to shove yourselves into my life. Just like leave me the hell alone." The guy yelled back.

All these yelling had attracted even
more attention. "How dare you call my sisters bitches?" Another familiar voice yelled out.

Mia sighed. The guy groaned.

"Is this school only full of bitches or is it my luck?" The guy said. Just as Alice and the twins were about to reply, Mia stepped forward.

"Okay that is enough." Mia said and everyone kept quiet... Everyone except the guy nobody knew cause he obviously didn't know how Mia was when she was angry.

"F**k it is enough. I just want to get the hell out of here, but you bitches are the ones holding me back." The guy said rolling his eyes.

This time, Mia was angry. Forget sexy, this boy was crazy.

"Are you f**king deaf? I said enough! I will not accept your shit anymore. I accepted the fact that you bumped into me and you didn't apologize. I accepted it when you insulted me. But you have gone too f**king far. I will not accept it anymore." Mia said in such a scary voice that even though the guy was way taller than Mia, he felt intimidated.

Not only him but every other person that was around Mia and had heard what she said. "Okay fine. I am sorry for bumping into you and for insulting you. Can I like f**king go now?" The guy said but he didn't sound sorry at all.

Alice was about to say something when Mia looked at her warningly. Mia turned back to the guy.

"Uhm... Before you go, can I know your name? My name is Mia." Mia said with a bright smile that startled the guy.

Of course he was startled. She had literally just been angry with him like two seconds ago. Bipolar much?!

"Ugh... My name is Maximus... But my friends call me Max. Not that you can call me Max." Maximus said before turning around and walking away.
