Chapter 14: Thunderclap And Flash

"Don't worry pink demon I've got him." Inosuke didn't dare remove his eyes from the big creature in front of him even when Bakugo began using his AP Shot to try and get his attention off the three of them. Somehow Inosuke found it unsettling that he had a pink demon and an Angel looking over his shoulder. "This is so weird."

"Come over here you bastard!" Bakugo shouted at the demon.

"Can't you throw something bigger Makugo?!"

"The hell you just call me?!" He shouted over the explosions. "If I do dumbass the whole place will burn!" Hearing the demon roar before he began sprinting towards him, Bakugo used this moment to blast himself into the air again. "Raccoon Eyes?!"

"She's ok!" Mina shouted through all the noise worriedly looking back at a barely conscious Uraraka. "But she needs medical attention!"

"Don't worry Angel, I'll protect you this time!" Inosuke shouted over his shoulder as he began charging at the demon.

"Stop calling her that!" Bakugo yelled feeling his explosion intensify, he wasn't sure what possessed him to do so but right now he couldn't care less. "MY! she's My Angel Face got it!"

"W-what?"

"What?"

"Well about time." Mina grinned at his unexpected outburst.

"Angel friend!" Bakugo quickly corrected himself feeling the heat rise to his face. "Now focus! We have a severely fucked up demon to fight!"

Placing her hand on one of the nearby boulders Uraraka used what little strength she had left to make it float and throw it directly towards the demon father.

"Ochaco!" Mina felt her friend fall to her knees as the weight of the boulder became too much for her in her current state.

"Leave... them... alone." She gritted her teeth as she desperately tried to force her quirk to keep going until it finally made contact with the demon and the minute it did, she instantly released her quirk.

"Woah..." Momentarily stunt Inosuke quickly shock his head as he resumed to try and cut through the now furious demon as it tried to move the boulder off.

"Uraraka?!" landing next to them and getting on his knees Bakugo quickly gave her a once over as he gently cupped her cheeks. "You ok?"

Silently nodding she tried to give them a reassuring smile, but it only came out weak.

"Why... won't... this... cut... through!?" Inosuke frustratingly continued to force his blades through.

Getting to his feet Bakugo saw Inosuke on top of the demon trying to use both of his swords to cut through him before it suddenly threw the same boulder towards them. They only had seconds to jump out of the way before it began going after Inosuke.

With quick thinking Tanjiro raised his sword. "Water breathing, Second form...Improved, lateral Water Wheel!" Slicing a nearby tree he managed to cut it down, successfully pining the demon underwater.

"What happened?" Dumbfounded, Inosuke just stared behind him where the huge tree lay.

"Inosuke you alright?!"

It was then that he realized Tanjiro had saved him. "He did that? That was some move, damn it!"

'Ok...I should be able to chop off its head now.' Gripping his sword Tanjiro prepared to finally finish the demon off. But as he jumped with sword at the ready, he heard someone shout as the demon suddenly stood up with the tree in its hands.

Everything moved so fast, one moment he was sure he would be able to defeat this demon and the next he felt someone try and shove him out of the way. 'What's going on? Bakugo?'
