"What?" he gruffly said.

"I'm going to say something important. So listen..." Inosuke waited until Bakugos vein stopped throbbing. "Everything I said was true."

"Inosuke!"

"Well it is!" Inosuke shouted back at Tanjiro.

"You've got about three seconds to get out of my face before I roast your ass." Bakugo said between gritted teeth.

"The angel." He instantly saw the way Bakugo's demeanor suddenly changed at the mention of Uraraka. "I'm sorry I couldn't save your angel friend when they pulled her away." He quietly said looking back into the water. "And even though you were closer, it should have been me since I'm faster and stronger than any one of you."

"Oh boy..." Tanjiro face palmed himself knowing that this could be going better, but this was at least some kind of progress for Inosuke despite of how it may seem.

Clicking his tongue Bakugo suddenly wondered if this is what everyone back home kept talking about when they meant that he was too brash with his words. But thinking it over some more he concluded that no that couldn't be it. That he was nowhere near this.

"Are you done? Because I've got shit to do."

"No." Shaking his head Inosuke continued to stare at his reflection until Bakugo curiously glanced at him from the corner of his eye before scoffing and returning to glaring at the water again. It wasn't until a few moments later that Inosuke decided to speak again. "I'm sorry about your angel friend."

"Hey name's Uraraka, got it?" Bakugo could tell that this guy really did feel bad about it, but nevertheless something about the way he continued to call her continued to grate on him. Getting to his feet he dusted the dirt off his pants. "Whatever. Let's just get going."

He began walking along the water's edge while stuffing his hands in his pockets but stopped when they saw a demon girl on the other side of the river staring back at them. "Don't tell me..."

'A demon! The scent hanging over this mountain blocked me from picking that up!' Panic instantly gripped Tanjiro as Inosuke let out an eager laugh.

"Listen up you damn demon; I'm going to tear you to shreds!"

The demon quickly turned to run when she saw Inosuke and Bakugo begin running across the rocks to get to her.

"Hang on!" Tanjiro shouted after them instantly picking up another scent.

"Now father!" The demon girl called out right as another demon jumped in front of them, but unlike her this one was much bigger in size with a spider head. Both boys just barely managed to dodge his attack as they jumped back.

"Inosuke! Bakugo! Are you guys alright?!"

"Fine." Bakugo wickedly grinned as he positioned himself for an attack. "About time. I was just looking for a fight."

"As long as you don't get in my way." Inosuke prepared both his swords.

"Is this really the time?!" Tanjiro frantically stared between them both.

"Don't come near my family!" The demon father roared as he aimed another with Inosuke quickly dodging again and Bakugo blasting himself in the air.

"Impossible." The demon girl staggered back before rushing into the forest. "I'm leaving the rest to you father."

"The hell you think you're going?!" Bakugo shouted shooting himself towards her but was roughly slammed into the river after the demon father yanked him back by the ankle. "Shit!" He coughed out water and rolled away when he saw a fist coming down on him.
