Peter looked down at the Daily Bugle newspaper he held in his hands. It was bad enough that his parents were splitting up, but to have it rubbed in his face every moment of the day. was even worse. It seemed like every single newspapers front page had something to do with the divorce of his parents. Some of these magazines even had the audacity to bring Peter up in them.

What is their son going to do?

Stark-Rogers child picking sides?

Peter Stark-Rogers has said in an exclusive non-public interview that he hates his parents.

Of course it was all absurd. For one, Peter wasn't going to choose sides, he made that very clear to his parents that they would have split custody over him, no questions asked, no complaints made. And for two, Peter had never had an interview with anyone, he just stayed up in his lab while his parents would fight for hours on end.

Some nights Peter would stay in his dad's room while they watched cringy romance movies and cried their eyes out, and others Peter would spar with his pops to help him let all of his anger out. Others Peter would sit in his room alone scrolling through instagram to see if there was a single page that wasn't posting about his parents splitting up.

Peter wasn't stupid. He knew that his parents didn't agree on anything other than his wellbeing anymore. He spent as much time with his aunt Nat and Uncle Clint as possible because he couldn't bear the constant fights at his house. Peter just wanted all of this to be over.

A few weeks later and Tony Stark and Steve Rogers were officially divorced. Peter hated how relieved he was, he hated it so much, but it was quiet now, too quiet. So Peter started leaving more and more, going out as Spider-man for longer periods of time so that he could hear the bustling city streets and the yelling of neighbors in their homes.

And then Tony announced to the world that Peter would be taking over his company, and it just so happened that Peter learnt about this new development with the rest of the world. That night he found himself crying on his pops' lap about how he wished his dad would've prepared him for that announcement, but after getting some words of advice from his pops, he found himself getting more and more excited about what this meant for him.

His dad started taking him on business meetings and to galas and across the world. Peter felt himself growing more accustomed to his parents being split. He had equal time with both his parents and they were starting to get along again. Peter knew things would never be the same and that his parents would never have the same relationship or be in love ever again, but that was something he was coming to terms with.

Then he saw his dad laughing with Bruce Wayne at a gala. Bruce Wayne, the billionaire known for not showing his emotions and being the most stoic person. Laughing. With his dad. That was the first time Peter saw his dad falling in love again. All of his emotions came running back to him. That night he confided in his aunts, Nat and Pepper about everything. Then, when Peter wasn't in a business meeting or a formal event, he was out as Spider-man, channeling all of his anger out on the bad guys.

Peter met Wade that way and the two hit it off. Wade had started working for SHIELD 2 months before the two of them had met. After a month of Peter seeing his dad and Bruce Wayne laughing with each other and Tony dropping Peter off at home so that him and Bruce could go on a date, Peter finally told Wade everything. Wade had comforted Peter, something had overtaken the Stark and he kissed Wade with a passion. That night the two of them ended up having sex on Wade's rickety bed in his apartment in Hell's Kitchen, not that Peter's parents could ever know. They'd be so dissapointed in him, heck he could hear his pops voice,:

"You're 16 Peter, do you know how irresponsible you were?"

Yeah, they were never going to know. Three months later Tony sat Peter down on their couch in the Penthouse at Stark Industries. Peter looked over and saw Bruce Wayne sitting next to his dad. He was then told that his dad was getting married and that they were also going to be merging the two companies. Peter was told that he would be running both. Peter nearly fainted. Tony had explained that Bruce Wayne had four children of his own and that he and Peter would be moving in to to Wayne manor in Gotham before all of them could move into the new tower that Tony had bought for the merge of the two companies.

Don't get Peter wrong, he was very happy for his dad, but he couldn't help but feel like he wished things would go back to the way they were. He missed flinging cookie dough at his dad while he and his pops baked. He missed running around on the ceiling while his pops would chase him with a broom. He missed his morning runs with his pops and Uncle Sam, and when they would come home his dad would be there to hand him a hot chocolate. He missed family days where all of the avengers would come together and have an entire day of training. He missed movie night where the three of them would cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie, sometimes they would be joined by the avengers. Peter was happy to say he was still very close with all of the avengers, but things had gotten a bit nasty during the divorce. Things had very thankfully mellowed down and there had been some new additions, but Peter couldn't help but reminisce the past.

Peter was once again staring at a Daily Bugle article on the merge of Stark Industries and Wayne enterprises. The new name was going to be Stark-Wayne Enterprises and a press conference was held to announce his dad's and Bruce Wayne's engagement and to announce that Peter was to be the heir to both companies now.

Tony then moved him and Peter into Wayne manor after Peter had spent a week at Avengers compound with his pops and the rest of the Avengers. During that time Peter had learnt that his pops had reconnected with an old friend and that the two had decided to start seeing each other. Peter was thankful that his pops told him so early on and he had even met this guy, Bucky.

When his dad came to pick him up, he was rather surprised to see that they were going to Gotham instead of Manhattan where he and his dad lived. That was when his dad had dropped the bomb that he had moved all of their stuff into Wayne manor while Peter was staying with his pops.

Peter was suddenly thrown into a whole new world. When he first stepped foot into Wayne manor he was greeted by Bruce Wayne and who could only be his four sons. It seemed that Bruce Wayne had a thing for adopting traumatized kids.

Dick Grayson was the oldest, he was nice enough to Peter. Jason Todd was a bit complicated, on first impressions, he was very cold and unwelcoming. Tim was also nice. Damian was Bruce Wayne's only biological child and was very stubborn and seemed to annoy his siblings quite a bit.

Peter felt as though all of them were being very stand-offish towards him and he by no means felt very welcomed. Throughout the next 3 weeks Peter was running the company alone while Tony and Bruce finished planning their wedding. Tony had asked Peter and Natasha to be in his wedding party to which the two of them agreed instantly. When Tony and Bruce got married, Peter and the Wayne siblings were to stay at the penthouse while the two newly weds went on their honeymoon.

Peter didn't know what to do with his life anymore.
