At one point or another in our universe, 2 gargantuan stars clashed, causing a colossal supernova that almost destroyed earth, leaving its surface to be completely burnt, except for a small circle of land with not even 1000 km² to its name. People initially thought that this small circle of land saved itself because of pure luck, and that it was simply fate, but they would be incorrect. When people die, 21 grams of some small , grainy, white powder float up in the air and leave their corpse, no one knew what it was at the start, but this powder... Is called whix. Whix is the very essence of your soul and when you die and your soul leaves your body all of your whix leaves the atmosphere and reaches a star named Riya, which existed before earth and has never been investigated by astronauts nor NASA because of its properties, infact when they tried to look at Riya they discovered it's atmosphere was totally obscured by floating dust, which was indeed Whix, however after the supernova the remaining people referred to the incident as simply "Schism" without even knowing what Whix was. But actually, there was just 1 young man who was interested in this "dust" and his name... was Quan. Quan was the first human who was actually aware of Whix and it's existence and he dedicated his life to discovering its properties, and ,eventually, at one point in his life , he discovered that Whix could be manipulated and shaped, and so he worked night after night for 3 years straight, and on one day he finally reached it, his conclusion was there were 3 ways to manipulate Whix
• Hold it and Release it
• Condense it
• Transmutate it
Furthermore he discovered that you can give a soul to anything you treat with enough care and that eventually it will also manifest its own Whix, however to even start moving Whix he needed 17 years of training and perseverance which was never surpassed. The items that manifested their own soul were known as Frores, and with the fact Quan never really learned and mastered all 3 types of Whix manipulation and instead just discovered them , he decided to use a staff, naming it Therain.
400 years after Quan's death, Therain had effectively become immovable and a fossil, with no technological device being able to even slightly move it. Therain had become the pillar of the now rebuilt society that could only exist in that small confined space.. But in this same era, a prodigy that broke all lines of thought was born, and that... is where our story starts.
