Children of Yggdrasil

Big Announcement !

Hey guys ! How ya doing ?

Recently I've been asked about my Patreon, the person who PMed me saying they couldn't find my page and asking about what I'd put on it. Since I told them about it, I decided to share with you all as well.

My page hasn't been launched yet so it's normal you won't find me for now. I'm still preparing the content but my graphic tablet died on me and is still being fixed to this day so I fell behind in my planned schedule (I was hoping to launch the page by the beginning of august but I've pushed it towards mid-september for now).

My Patreon page will be used to share my original stories and art. There several stories being revised and translated in english, though my biggest project is a saga named Children of Yggdrasil.

As its name states, this saga focuses on the myth of the World Tree and the Nine Realms. We'll follow characters you've seen from my fanfictions : Haldrik and Braan, though they both changed and evolved since last you've read about them.

Haldrik will be more like the Nuffink I wrote from Heirs of Berk than my Haldrik from The Lost Boy, even if he's become someone else completely and is no longer the son of our Hiccup and Astrid. He became a whole other being, a descendant of the Valkyries and he lives in Vanaheim.

Braan has also been developped but don't you worry : if you liked his being a lost kid who grew up with dragons and lived in the wild, the essence of it remained and even went further.

Basically, my story takes place in a tormented time long after Ragnarök (I took a lot of liberties with the Yggdrasil lore and played with different inspirations including the amazing video game God of War Ragnarök). There's a war through the realms as the Light Elfs are conquering the other realms to expand their empire, capturing children with magical powers to use in their army.

Haldrik and Braan come from different realms and will meet due to that war disrupting their lives, and we'll follow our two kids' and their friends' shenanigans as they weave their way through that conflict.

For now, there's three books on the work and I actually have no idea where this story will lead me but I'm super excited about this project and happy to finally share it after years of work !

This wattpad 'story' will mostly be me ranting about this big adventure and share updates on my progress on Children of Yggdrasil (how much I wrote, when my Patreon will be launched, etc). So feel free to ask if you're interested and want to know more (PMs or comments on this 'story', as you like 😉) I'd be happy to include Q&As in the following updates.
