Chapter one

Walking through the halls of my school was never boring, especially if you're a rat like me. The rats aren't legacies and legacies hate us for.... Well they don't really have a reason. They are just assholes and..... 

"Yo Fallon, wait up!" I turned to see who interrupted my thought. When I turn around I see a boy with a green mohawk. Of course it's billy. Billy is also a rat and one of my best friends. "Hey what's up billy?" "Rooftop, party, you coming?" he said out of breath "who's going?" I question "Lex, saya, saya's gang, willi, willi's gang, marcus and...." before he can finish i cut him off saying in a teasing way "Petre" Billy blushes like crazy because for the longest time billy has had a crush on petre i mean she pretty like really pretty but no one knows is petre likes billy back i do feel bad for the poor kid. "Billy there you are!" Lex says with his english accent "oh hello there love" He says kissing my hand "hi lex" I say giggling at him "Lex give the girl a break" petre said coming out of nowhere and hugging me "Hey petre you going to the party tonight?" I ask her because if she's going I'm definitely going "hell yeah" "Sweet see you there" I say smiling 

"FALLON!" Miss deluca screams from down the hallway "crap" I say closing my eyes like i'm going to go invisible if i keep them closed "What did you do?" Lex asks laughing "I don't know" I gron "see ya later" Billy says walking off with petre and lex "Yes" "What did you say to professor como scorpio?" Miss deluca asks "nothing that bad" "Fallon Kane" Miss deluca says not impressed with me "Fine I said you need a mint your breath smells like shit" I say rolling my eyes "Fallon..." "what mum?". Oh did I forget to mention that Miss deluca is my mother. "your father is waiting out front for you. Go" "but mum.." "NOW" I roll my eyes and walk off not even bothering to look where i'm going. But just as I'm about to walk out I bump into someone as I look up I see marcus. Marcus is the hottest guy in school, at least in my opinion. "I'm sorry i wasn't looking where i was going" I say trying so hard not to blush "No no it's my fault" He says apologizing.

 As I stand back up I look into his eyes and I smile. When he smiles back butterflies erupt in my stomach "I should go" "where? If you don't mind me asking." he says, still smiling "My father is coming to get me." I sigh, "Is he there yet?" "I don't think so." "I'll wait with you if you want." He says smirking, "yeah sure.".
