Terrors: A Benrius Series

Chapter 0: Prologue

As thunder roared and lightning struck, a near scream and an Allosaurus Roar was heard in the woods nearby, Atrociraptors chased the jeep, Ben tried pushing the steering wheel but no honk came out, his only reaction was to reverse, slamming into Ghost and Panthera, but Tiger and Red kept chase.

"Stay back, I said stay back!" Yelled Ben as he tried to drive away, but the jeep hit a rock, the tire went flat and another boulder knocked his tire right off, the jeep swerved and crashed into a sleeping Parasaurolophus, it trumpeted in pain and thought it was the raptors due to the darkness. With raptors gone, Ben now had to run, Ben's cabin was near.

As the sun rose, Ben had layed there in the long grass, the first thing he heard wasn't the best. Two Compsognathus were fighting over a leftover sandwich, one lost. But the winner was scooped by a Pteranodon. He rubbed his eyes, he wasn't outside. He was laid in a spare room. He then remembered Darius had took him in.

Darius put his hand at Ben's eyes and waved it. "Yoohoo, Ben. Wake up." Ben shook his head and saw him, he blushed a bit. "Oh h-hey." He said with a soft tone. "Were you, blushing?" Darius asked. Ben shook his head no, but was hiding his love. The sound of Pteranodons screeching woke Ben up completely.

It was 11am, Ben and Darius had ate breakfast, by that I mean toast with marmalade. Quite stale marmalade. The Sun scorched at 30⁰ celsius on the ground, even a herd of Nasutoceratops crossing the road were hesitant at first to cross.

Meanwhile with Brooklyn

First Person

I had ran for a few miles, with my lost hand and the Allosaurus after me, I hid under a tree, the Allosaurus had passed. I had been panting heavily, the Allosaurus smelling the air. Thankfully, it didn't smell me.

Third Person

Ben had gone out with Darius for a walk, Darius on Ben's back, as Ben could stand the scorching heat. They walked for many miles, they came to a stop when they saw the dead body of an Apatosaurus, its corpse decaying, blocking the only way past the canyon walls. They had no choice but to go over it. Easier said then done.

After going over the carcass, they made it through a dangerous canyon, where it was warming up to 35⁰ celsius dueto it being midday. All they could hear were some vultures with their crackling calls and footsteps from the two young men.

Atlast, Ben fell over, his skin very slightly burning. "Ben!" Darius immediately grabbed Ben in his grasp, Ben laid his head on Darius' shoulder, they had to get back.
