When you love someone you will do anything for them. But when Matteo Riddle loves someone he will push them away and protect you none the less.

Matteo's POV
"Are you ever going to tell her?" Theo asked. We were in the great hall and I was stareing at Y/n cuz she's perfect. And I've been crushing on her for years. But I can't let her know that it would be to risky.

"No she'd be in danger if I did. I love her to much to let that happen" I told him.

Y/n sat at the other side of the table with Pansy and Daphne they knew about my crush but y/n doesn't know a thing. The girls told me she likes me back I can't risk it though.

"Stop stareing you look like a creep" Enzo said hitting my arm and breaking my stare. "Just tell her already we've all been waiting since 2nd year" Draco said.

"Just tell y/n" Theo started when Y/n came over. "Tell me what?" She asked her hands on the back of my chair "Nothing important" I said stopping Theo from answering.

"Well Matteo I need to borrow you for a second" she said. "oh of course what do you need" I said trying to hide my smile "just need to talk" she took my hand making me fill with butterflies and leads me out of the great hall.

Y/n's POV
The right time has finally come I'm going to kiss Matteo. I've had the biggest crush on him since forever and I've finally got up the Courage to tell him.

"So what do you need" he asked smiling from ear to ear. "Just this" the moment has finally come.

I leaned in and it felt like time stopped

Matteo's POV
I can't believe this is happening. I pulled her in closer my hands at her waist hers at my neck. She didn't realize how much danger she's putting herself in but I couldn't find a way to stop.

We finally broke apart she was trying to catch her breath. But soon she just said "I'm sorry, I didn't give you a chance to react. I'm sorry I've just not been able to stop thinking about you" if only she knew how much I love her.

"You have no reason to be sorry, you have to idea how much I've been wanting to do that". she let out a sigh of relief "I really like you Y/n that's why I haven't said anything. It's too dangerous for me to love someone but I will do anything just to be with you" I said after years of pretending like I felt nothing.

She kissed me again pulling me in by the collar of my shirt. I didn't want her to stop.

Y/n's POV
I've had the biggest crush on him since forever but the reason I haven't said anything is cause of my last name Potter. That's right a Potter ended up in slytherin making me and my twin brothers relationship crumble.

If he knew what I was doing right now kissing the dark lords son. The man who wants us deads son.

Oh god what have I done. We separated and a look of fear washed over me. Matteo could tell the realization hit me, "This seems wrong" was all I could say. Matteo took my hands in his "Love works in werid ways, please don't let it go just cause of my family".

He looked so innocent. I can't let him go, i need to put my own happiness before my safety at least I'll die knowing the boy I love loves me back.

"We should probably head back before people start getting suspicious" I say Matteo's hand still in mine "wait before we go" he pulled me in again. "Are you going to do that every chance you get?" I ask giggling a bit "every chance I get. I've been waiting long enough" he answered smiling right back at me.

Matteo's POV
I went back to my seat y/n promised me she would meet me at my dorm tonight.

"What's that smile for?" Draco asked. I don't think I realized how happy I was.
