Chapter 13: Mount Natagumo

Stepping in front of Mina, Bakugo dangerously narrowed his eyes at Inosuke. "Wanna lower those before there's nothing left of you...?"

"HAHA like I'll ever give you the chance! Traveling with a Demon can only mean one thing!"

"Um..." awkwardly raising a hand Tanjiro saw Inosuke snapping his head in his direction.

"That's different!"

Raising his palms up Bakugo gave off a few warning explosions while making sure to keep Mina and Uraraka behind him so they wouldn't feel the impact of his quirk if it came down to it. "I'm not asking again."

"See! That is the work of another demon right there!" Inoskue pointed out.

"Oi what the fuck don't' lump me in with Raccoon Eyes!"

"Hey!" Mina frowned. "We're not demons ok! I'm just a normal beautiful girl with a quirk that's looking for our friend and her potential boy toy so we can get out of here-and what's with all these spiders?!" she shrieked when she momentarily got caught in a small web.

"Come on Santaro, let me finish them."

"It's Tanjiro, Inosuke!" The other boy briefly glared at his friend before setting his eyes once more on the three of them. "But I don't sense any harm, nor do I smell any demon on them."

"Of course you don't!" Mina's agitated voice echoed around them. "I already told you I'm not! I'm naturally beautiful!"

"Pff, I don't believe you." Inosuke however begrudgingly lowered his swords before raising it once more. "But if you're not, then what are you even doing here?!"

"Wow he really likes to shout like someone we know." Uraraka giggled to herself which made everyone turn to her before she sheepishly cleared her throat.

"Are you seriously comparing me to this guy?!" Bakugo whipped around to stare wide eyed at the brunette.

"No of course not." Uraraka vigorously shook her head but her voice and the way she tried to suppress a smile said otherwise.

"Anyways I'm Tanjiro. Tanjiro Kamado." Tanjiro extending his hand out in a friendly gesture. "And this is Inosuke Hashibira and..."

"M-Murata."

Tilting his chin up Bakugo suspiciously eyed Tanjiro's hand before stubbornly folding his arms over his chest not in the liberty of trusting them at the moment, not until they found Kirishima and Kaminari and getting the hell out of this place.

Shaking her head Uraraka saw Tanjiro about to retrieve his hand when she grabbed it and gave him a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you Tanjiro. I'm Ochaco Uraraka, this is Mina Ashido, and this is Katsuki Bakugo."

"Tch."

"You're not from the Demon Slayer corps, are you?" Tanjiro dragged his eyes between their strange clothing.

"Gee what gave us away." Bakugo rolled his eyes before he felt the end of Inoskues sword near his face. "And what did I tell you about aiming that thing at me?!"

"No, we kind of got lost and trying to find where our friends are." Uraraka nervously rubbed the back of her head as they continued to ignore Inosuke and Bakugo arguing.

"Well if your friends are here too then it's a good bet they're probably dead by now." Murata shut his eyes tight as he kneeled on the ground with tears streaming down his face which seemed to get everyone's attention.

"And what the hell does that mean?" Bakugo didn't like the sound of that. "And what the hell happened here?"

"The-the crow gave us the order. Ten of us Demon Slayers came here and not long after we entered the mountain they...they started killing each other!"
