Chapter 13: Mount Natagumo

"Oh man..." Kaminari tilted his head upwards where they could see a floating house. "Are those threads?!" Kaminari pressed his back against Kirishimas in case something decided to sneak up on them again.

"Don't know man. But this doesn't look good." Kirishima clenched his fists when he saw many lifeless bodies hanging from webs near the house, hoping there were at least some survivors.

'The heck is that?' Zenitus froze once he made it back to them. 'Are those humans who got turned into spiders? And this place stinks...it's making my throat hurt and irritating my eyes too.' He thought as he covered his nose again.

"Tell me I'm not seeing this!" Kaminari couldn't stop his body shaking when they saw another spider peek its head out of the floating house, but this one seemed bigger in comparison.

"It's huge!" Zenitus panic began to increase tenfold.

"There's no point in running anymore." A demon spider slowly came down from the house with a sinister grin. "You've already lost the battle."

"Definitely not good..." Kirishima frowned.

"Something terrible must've happened here." Uraraka stood frozen as she stared at the young girl laying helplessly on the ground. "Are you alright?"

"H-Help me...." The girl continued to whimper as she reached her hand out while at the same time aiming a katana towards them. "Please..."

"Yeah, we'll get right on that." Bakugo's voice held doubt that made Uraraka swiftly grab his arm and make him turn to face her. "Oi watch it!"

"Bakugo we can't just leave her!"

"And what would you have me do? Release the crazy extra we know nothing about while she's pointing that thing at us?!" he huffed as he yanks his arm free. "And when did you suddenly get so gappy?"

"I am not grappy!" she argued back, crossing her arms and turning her reddening face away.

"Please don't let me die here!" she whimpered before she was dragged by an invisible force through the trees.

"Shit!" Running towards the direction she was dragged off to, Bakugo momentarily stopped chasing after the girl when they didn't see any other sign of her.

"Where did she go?!" Mina snapped her head around in fear hoping to catch some glimpse of her.

"How the hell should I know?!"

"We can't stop, we have to keep moving!" Uraraka shouted and was about to keep going but stopped when Bakugo blocked her way.

"Look we don't even know where the hell we are or what we'd be walking into."

"So, you'd just leave her?!"

Clenching his fists he knew what the right thing to do was, but the way this place had him on high alert had him questioning their next move. "Damnit! Let's move!" he shouted as he began sprinting forward hoping they'd find some clue to where she was taken.

After a few failed attempts in locating the girl, Bakugo swiftly stopped making both girls clumsily bump into him and fall back.

"Ow!

"Bakugo what gives?!" Mina fisted her hand in anger.

"Shh!" Silently tilting his head sideways, he placed a finger to his mouth to silence them before gesturing them over to hide behind some trees.

"What is it?" Uraraka curiously peeked her head out from behind Bakugo wondering why he stopped.

"Think I heard something." He quietly said with his eyes concentrated on the shaking boy cautiously crouching down a good distance away until he let out a loud scream when a hand was placed on his shoulder.
