chapter 3...phone call!

"Is there anything else I could get you?", she asked clearly trying to flirt with him.

"No thanks", he said showing no interest in her whatsoever .

When she left and went into the kitchen I turned to Jake,"OMG!! She is totally into you!"

"What?, no way she just asked me if I needed anything!"

"My point exactly...she so has a thing for J!"

"Does not!"

"Does too!"

"Not!"

"Too!"

"Not!

"Too!"

"Forget it your useless!, anyway the foods come."

"Yay!"

"What are you like Five",

"Shutup! And watch closely, she so into you"

Before he could say anything else the waitress was serving us our food.

"Are you sure that there isnt  anything I could get you?", she asked Jake .

"I'm good thanks", he replied bluntly looking at me.

"Let me know if you do", she said and walked away.

"Told you so!", I yelled at him satisfied with myself.

"Screw it"

Silence fell between us as we ate our food.

I finished eating and looked over only to see Jake struggling to finish his meal.

"Need some help buddy?"

"Please!", he sighed in relief.

I finished his fries and his drink.

"How the hell could you finish your meal and half of mine?", he looked at me shocked.

"Hang around me more and you'll see", I said grinning and taking a sip of his drink.

We were just about to leave when two very familiar guys walked in.

I turned around and saw Tyler and Damon walking casually towards are table.

Damon is one if my best friends we've known each other since 5th grade.

He left our school this year and joined our schools rivals.

I stood up and he immediately pulled into one of his bear hugs.

"C-a-n-'t-b-r-e-a-t-h-e", I managed to get it out.

"Oh sorry I haven't seen you in so long!", he said and let me go.

"What are you guys doing to here?", Tyler questioned us.

"Leaving.", I replied giving Jake an apologetic smile.

"Yeah what she said", he smirked And did that hand shake thing with Damon.

I gave Damon a quick hug and started leaving.

"Hey don't I get a hug?", Tyler asked me pouting.

"I'll pass!", I replied smirking.

We quickly made our way out and I could here Tyler saying that he would get me the next time.

"Whatever Tyler!", I yelled and walked out with Jake.

Once we were out Jake turned towards me,"Well that was interesting!"

"No shit!", I replied.

Jake walked with me home, thankfully we reached safely without any crap happening.

He walked with me till me doorstep.

I heard my mum scream,"Alex? Is that you? Where have you been?", she kept on yelling some other stuff but I tuned her out.

"Are you in trouble?", he asked looking concerned.

"Nah!, she'll get over it. No worries!",

I assured him with a smile.

"Good because I don't want you getting into trouble cause of me"

"Anyway, thanks for lunch it was fun!" I said smiling.

"No problem, it's was interesting!"

"Whatever", I said rolling my eyes knowing he was referring to Tyler,"We should do it again and I'll pay the next time"

"Yeah, that'd be awesome!!"

"Cool, I better get inside before my mum kills me."

"Bye Alex"

"Bye Jake and thanks again", I said giving him a hug.

I watched him walk away with a smile on my face knowing he was going to be an awesome friend.

I opened the door and my smile disappeared looking at my mum.

This was it she was going to explode and I was so grounded for the weekend and school only just started could this day get anymore eventful?!?

And then my cell phone started ringing and when I checked my caller ID I knew exactly whose number it was and immediately felt butterflies in my stomach which was weird considering who the person calling me was.

Damn!!...was all I could think of before pressing the green button on my phone.

"Hello?", he sounded so hot on the phone.

OH MY FREAKING GOD!!!

I did not just think that!

Shit. I was so screwed.

"Hello, um may I know whose calling?", I knew it was him but still tried to play it cool.

"It's Tyler."

"Oh, what's up?"

"Um nothing much"

"Oh-Kay then why did u call me?", this is really weird why the hell was he calling me? He never called me.

"I um wanted to know what home work we had"

"Ahh, we have math and history"

Wait why is he asking me about home work? He never asked me for homework, he way smarter than but I'm not gonna admit that to him.

I quickly ran up to my room knowing my mum would eventually call me back done and lecture me about my behavior but what the hell.

"Hello? Are you still there?"

Oh shit I totally forgot that Tyler was on the phone.

"Shit my bad, sorry what were u saying?"

"Nothing really anyway I gotta go"

"Okay cool bye"

"Bye and thanks I'll see you school"

"Yeah sure bye"

"Bye Alex"

Then the lie went dead.

"Alex!!!! Get you butt down here missy you have a lot if exposing to do!", I heard my mum yell.

"Shit", I murmured to myself

I screwed. This was the second time I had that thought today.

What an eventful day.
