Today is my execution.

And yet... I am not afraid.
For the first time, I think I finally understand what my grandpa meant when he told me, "Don't end up alone."
Now that I have met and lost... and met and lost... all of you — I finally understand.

I know I'm just one name on a long list of people swallowed up by this endless war.

I know that in the grand scheme of things, I was little more than a cog in a great, grinding machine.

But even a tiny cog can stir a stagnant engine.
Even a boy from the sticks can spark the rebirth of a golden age — in his own small, clumsy way.

Not everyone is meant to cross the bridge into a new era...

But that's just life, isn't it? Not everyone gets to see the other side.

Every great thing humanity has ever built has been shaped by death — because life and death are not opposites.

They're partners in an eternal cycle, shifting us from one state of existence to another, endlessly.

I'm not sure what comes after this.
But somehow, deep in my heart, I believe it'll be something beautiful — like coming home.

I'm sad, of course. Sad for the years I'm leaving behind, the life I'll never get to finish.

But I don't feel like I've lost.
Not really.

Soon... I'll be with everyone again.
My friends.
My family.
Everyone I loved, waiting for me just beyond the veil.

Gojo went home to Geto.
Nanami went home to Haibara.

And maybe... maybe in my next life, you'll be there waiting for me too.

My Kuna.
My beautiful Sukuna.

They told me Megumi still hasn't woken up. That when Sukuna was sealed back into me, the shock drove them both into a coma.

But Megumi... he'll wake up. He always does.
He's strong like that.

As for Sukuna and me...
Both of us knew we wouldn't make it.

We'll die together — what a beautiful tragedy.
But somehow, it doesn't feel like an ending.
Maybe in the next life, we'll finally get to be normal. Free. Happy.

Tears sting my eyes at the thought of us — smiling, unburdened, running beneath a bright sky.

Even though we fought. Even though we tried to deny what we felt.
It was fun.
It was hard, yes. But it was real.

And I was happy.
So happy that, even now, facing death, I can't regret any of it.

I'm grateful.
Grateful for every friend, every teacher, every odd soul I met along the way.
This just wasn't our time to be happy.
