Today was another day in hell with people dying, fighting and whatnot. Vox was at work in the V-Tower working on a new technology project.
Jet was sitting beside him, bored from just sitting around and doing nothing at all. 'Im so bored, cant we go eat something?' She said looking at Vox.
'Not right now love, I'm pretty busy.' Vox said, continuing to work and write down ideas on the paper.
'Whatever, I'll just go get food for myself then.' Jet shrugged and stood up, walking over to the door, leaving the office to get some food from the cafeteria.
As Jet got to the cafeteria a-lot of other demons were there as-well, eating lunch and talking to each other about work and projects.
16 minutes later Jet took the elevator back up to the floor where Vox's office was. She got out of the elevator and opened the door. Jet went over to Vox and sat down beside him again like she had done before.
'soo, anything important happened lately?' Jet said, trying to start a conversation between them.
'Not really, or actually. Alastor payed me a visit last week, really weird. He told me that i should watch my back whatever that means.' He said, still writing and making the project better.
'Oh, thats kinda weird. I wonder why he would say that. Maybe you should be aware if y'know he does anything. He is very powerful after all.' Jet said, kinda worried about Vox's safety.
'He's only a little more powerful than me, you should know this love.' Vox said, looking up from his papers and over at Jet, smiling slightly at her.
'Yeah, i guess but I'm still worried y'know. What if something does happen?' Jet said, her voice worried and soft.
'i promise you that nothing will happen okay?' Vox said, trying to calm down Jet and make her less worried for him.
