Meyra POV

I was walking beside my giant lynx since there wasn't anything else to do. I was planning on heading back home until I heard a bunch of noise and voices. I brought out my knifes, not having enough time nor distance to use my rifle which was hanging across my body. I waited for the silhouettes of the people to be clear enough to see. I then threw the knifes at each silhouette but not to places that could kill them.

I watched as they moved out the way after the knifes had already passed them, each hitting a tree. They all bolted forward, wanting to see who just threw weapons at them. I brought out one of my longer knifes wanting to protect myself from possible danger. I watched as their faces became clearer, seeing a child and a boy who didn't look like the rest of them. 'They must be with those sky demons.' I assumed as I was ready to fight them.

"What do you want here?" I ask in a stern tone, my lynx growling behind me.

"We kind of got lost," one boy said, joking laughing. Seeing as no one else was laughing he was quick to stop.

"This isn't even a joking matter." one of the girls whispered as she nudged the boy in his side.

"We aren't here to harm anyone. We came to the mountains to hang out and we ended up getting lost." a taller blue boy said.

"How do I know you don't work with those sky demons?" I asked as slightly lowered my weapon.

"Well, they were out to kill my family so I wouldn't want to work with them." the boy from earlier joked again.

"We are Jake Sully's children, and they are people of the sea." the taller blue one said. "We don't seek any harm."

"What about that thing beside you? He's one of them, isn't he?" I said as I put my sword down completely.

"I am nothing like them!" the demon boy yelled.

"Ohe didn't atokirina' ngenga to tukru! (I didn't ask you to speak!)" I yelled back, my lynx hissed after.

"Po doesn't seek any harm. Po's fko of the eywa ngahu people. (He doesn't seek any harm. He's one of the good people.)" the greenish blue girl said.

"What are your names?" I asked, eyeing them all with caution.

"I'm Kiri."

"Tuk!"

"Lo'ak"

"Neteyam"

"Rotxo"

"Ao'nung"

"Tsireya"

"Spider"

I eyed all of them. "I'm Meyra of the Moutains. And this is Linya." I said as I pet my lynx.

"It's so big! Can I touch it!?" Tuk asked as she excitedly came up to me.

"Tuk, you just ask such things right after meeting someone!" Kiri whisper yelled.

"It is alright. Linya is a friendly creature. If you want, I can show you all around. You won't get lost trust me." I say as I helped Tuk get of Linya with me.

"Do we have rid that?" Lo'ak asked.

"If you want to keep up then I'd advise you do." I said as I link with Linya. Lo'ak reluctantly got on. Since he was the last to get on, Linya quickly started to move.

Kiri, Tuk, Tsireya, and me laugh as the boy started to slip off at the shockingly fast speed.

"You can't slow down?!" Neteyam yelled, trying to grab onto the fur of the lynx.

"You can't hold on?" I said, finding it amusing as the boy's struggle.

After a while, the boys were able to stay on Linya without much of a problem. They stopped at the end of a cliff and rested there. Lo'ak and Tsireya talked, Ao'nung and Rotxo" played with Kiri, Tuk, and the human boy. Neteyam sat next to me. We didn't talk or play. We just sat next to each other in calming silence.

"Do you have any siblings?" Neteyam asked me.

"I have a younger brother and a soon to be born younger sister." I speak, playing with the snow I sat on. Neteyam hummed at my answer leaning back onto Linya. "May I ask a question?"

"Sure," Neteyam said as he perked up.

"Why would you come here to 'hang out?' Sea people and Forest people aren't built for the cold on the mountains so you could easily get cold and get sick, maybe even die. So why risk it?"

"It wasn't my idea to come here but Lo'ak insisted, and I gave in. By the time we go back my father would already skin me alive before I can even speak." Neteyam said laughing a little bit.

"Your txopu ulte ikran don't let ngenga roam around on your own? (Your father and mother don't let you roam around on your own?)" I asked as I tilted my head to the side.

"Ohe'm fmawn tangek alone thanks to tsakem sa'nok. (I'm never truly alone thanks to that moron.)" He said as he looked at Lo'ak.

We watched as Lo'ak and Tsireya talked to each other.

"'itan clearly have feelings for each lapo. (They clearly have feelings for each other)" I smirked as I whispered.

"It's amusing to watch."

Me and Neteyam laughed together. The laughter instantly stopped as snowballs got thrown at them. I stood up and looked in the direction where the snowballs came from.

I hissed. "Eykora! What are you doing?!" I yelled causing the male to stop.

"What is that thing doing here and why are you around it?" Eykora whispered to me.

"I'm not fond of him either but these other na'vi clearly trust him and they aren't harmful." I said as I defend them others.

"If father finds out about this, he'll kill you and you know it!" he said.

"Which is why they won't find out." I sternly said, watching as his ears go down.

He looked at the others, scoffing as he walked off.

I walked towards the others. "You must go back home. I don't know how long I can keep you a secret before my brother ends up telling my father."

"We got lost on way here, do you really think we'll be able to leave." Ao'nung sassed.

"Don't sass me. If you are smart, then you'll be able to see trails. The paths that are bright are the ones to the outside of the forest. Go to there."

"Can't you come with us?" Kiri asked with a sad expression on her face.

"To guide us," Neteyam said.

I smiled softly at him. "I have to stay behind with my family. I'm not the one in danger, you are. So go and stop wasting time."
