"Right." She quickly managed to catch up to him and nervously began fidgeting with her hands as they walked in silence for the next few minutes. With every snapping of a twig, she couldn't stop herself from jolting at the sound and instinctively found her hand grabbing his.

With a sidelong glance he stared at her in surprise for what felt like hours before readjusting his grip and silently continued moving forward.

She tried to keep her nerves in check especially since she was the one who seemed scared, but she found it hard with Bakugo holding her hand. All it did was remind her of the time back in the cell and even now still found that gestured making her feel safe and wanted somehow.

Glancing forward she could see Bakugo's focused and serious gaze as they continued to wander through the forest. The way his eyes held so much confidence just made her get lost in what she was doing and clumsily stumble a few times which in turn just made him tighten his hold on her hand.

"Careful you klutz."

"Sorry."

'I'm holding Bakugo's hand!' she inwardly panicked but despite all that found herself smiling as her heart continued to thump faster. It wasn't just that she was holding someone's hand but that she was holding his hand. "Wait Bakugo."

"What?" Groaning, he dramatically turned around to look at her when she stopped walking again. When she didn't answer right away but instead saw her eyes briefly soften, he found himself stepping closer until they heard a loud scream coming from close by.

"Wait is that...Mina?!" she asked, already running towards where the sound was coming from.

"Of course it fuckin is." Rolling his eyes he quickly began catching up to her until a quick pink blur suddenly crashed hard against him making him fall backwards. "AGH!"

"Mina!" Uraraka gave a relived smile once she saw her friend and helped her off the ground.

"You guys!" Mina had tears streaming down her face as she hugged Uraraka like her life depended on it. "That was scary!"

"Oi I'm fine by the way! Fuck." Bakugo huffed and got up just in time to avoid getting a spider on him. "Those little shit's sure are persistent."

"It's worse! They're everywhere!" Mina shrieked.

"Have you seen Shitty hair or Sparky on your way tumbling down here while alerting everyone to our presence?" he asked as he dusted the dirt of his pants.

"Bakugo don't say it like that." Uraraka shook her head disapprovingly as Mina continued to whimper.

"No, it's true." Mina wiped her cheeks.

"See even Raccoon eyes knows she's a complete moron." Bakugo smugly grinned while gesturing to the pink girl.

"That's not what I meant." Mina rolled her eyes, continuing to wipe the incoming tears. "I haven't seen them and man do I hope they're alright."

"Alright well let's just keep-"

"No! No. nonononono I am not going back there." Mina vigorously shook her head and hid behind Uraraka.

"How come?" Uraraka warily asked, feeling herself shaking.

When they didn't see Mina respond and instead stared with fearful eyes, Bakugo grew impatient and began walking again while mumbling to himself.

"Wait, didn't you hear me?!" Mina shouted as the two girls began walking behind him.

"I did and I chose to ignore it." He spoke over his shoulder and grabbed Urarakas hand without thinking. "Besides' knowing our luck that's probably the way out."
