Giyuu
It's been about a week since I was fired from my last job. But that dick had it coming. And now it's my first day at my new job. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, even a tiny bit. I did my research about this place and my new boss and everything about the place came back positive, but the boss? Not as much. I read into him and he's been known for his short temper and "usual outbursts" which isn't a good sign from the start. Oh well. Here goes nothing.
~
I situated myself at my desk as my desk phone rang.
"Hello, Tomioka speaking." I answered the phone in a formal tone, but not receiving one back.
"Get in here. I need you for something."
Ok, Bossy I thought to myself as I agreed and hung up, making my way to Mr. Shinazugawa's office, taking long strides to be safe.
I entered the room with a quick knock, but not wanting an answer.
"You needed me, sir?" he looked up from his paperwork and screen next to him, showing himself at an angle that did his facial features justice.
"Yeah, there's some papers I need you to pick up for me in the copy room. Grab those, would 'ya?" ok, minus one point for grammar, but plus one for the look.
I answered with a simple nod and noise of agreement, and he didn't spare me another glace after that.
Ok, look, I wasn't openly gay, but if someone asked me, I wouldn't lie to them. I just don't think that I need to be spewing personal information about myself in a professional work environment. But there was something about my boss. I couldn't pin down what my mind was telling me, but there was something there.
After I dropped off the papers at his office, the day went on. Working as an assistant was kind of like a big game of cat and mouse. But I went back and forth all day, and when the day was over, I was exhausted.
I gathered my things and left for the day, passing by Mr. Shinazugawa's office. I smiled and waved goodbye from outside his office, and to my surprise, he smiled back and waved as well. Stunned, I stumbled a bit and then went back to my pace, hearing a faint chuckle from behind me. My face lit up in a burning sensation as I left the building.
~
I got home and hung my light jacket on the rack by the door, as I stumbled into the living room and turned on the TV in one movement. I relaxed for a bit until I went to my room and fell onto my bed with a huff, letting sleep take control as my eyes slowly drifted down until all I could see was the back of my eyelids.
~
My alarm woke me up from my peaceful sleep. Ew.
I got my items ready for work, and then I went for my usual morning jog to wake me up in the morning. I left the house and locked my door.
I reached the sidewalk as I saw a familiar figure in the distance ahead of me. It was Mr. Shinazugawa. I'll just keep my distance and try to make it look like I'm not following him if he catches me.
The act was up after about thirty seconds.
"Are you following me, Giyuu? " He turned around as he slowed to a stop, with me following his action.
It took me a second to answer, as my eyes were distracted by the sight in front of me. Mr. Shinazugawa had a white, sleeveless top on that was almost see-through as he was covered in sweat, and a shit eating grin on his face that could make me stay up at night just thinking about his body and face.
He was built well with obvious muscles that traveled from his biceps to his abdomen. He had strong legs and had an extremely handsome face that made my knees a little weaker. Shit, this is my boss for Christ's sake. Get your head out of the gutter Giyuu.
"Sorry sir, I didn't mean to, I usually do my running earlier, but I'm running a bit behind this morning. I'll leave you too it then, I'm sorry." my face had to be red as his smirk widened. I was about to run off ahead of him but he grabbed my wrist with a tight grip. Please, just let me run off or let me go back home. another moment of seeing him like this and I might risk losing my job saying, doing, or having a physical reaction that I will regret later.
"Who said anything about you leaving? Why don't you run with me?" Shit.
"But sir-" I was cut off.
"Ok, no more 'sir' bullshit. Just call me Sanemi." I needed to run. Now. But his grip is like a fucking python.
I managed to get him to let go of my hand before I bid him a quick goodbye and ran off in the direction of my house, hoping to avoid him. I could feel his gaze linger on my back as I jumped up my steps and into my door.
I came in with a huff and a heartbeat in a different part of my body than my chest.
I couldn't wrap my head around the interaction I just had with my boss. Every time I recalled our conversation, or whatever you want to call that, the more I couldn't ignore a certain problem in my pants.
This fucking sucks. not even my second day at my new job, and I'm already head over heels for my boss.
