Moon Deity (NightWing) - She/her - A calm and ominous figure, considered to be one of the oldest deities, only second to the Sun Deity. Scales black as night and eyes as white and as vibrant as the 3 moons, she is not to be trifled with. Formerly mates with the Sun Deity. Lives away from him. - Solitary, accessible
Sun Deity (SandWing) - He/him - A violent, bright and fiery figure. Not to be messed with, demands respect. Scales as vibrant and as fiery as the sun, and eyes as bright as the sky, he is not to be played with or tricked. Quick to anger. Formerly mates with the Moon Deity. - Isolated
Mud/Nature Deity (MudWing) - She/they - A calm and quiet goddess found in the middle of the largest swamp of the Mud Kingdom. Can be asked to heal injuries and animals depending on if they are deemed "worthy", which is a cold and jarringly heartless process. She may give a dragon one look and dismiss them as unworthy before swiftly returning to their swamp. - Isolated, sociable
Flame Deity (SkyWing) - He/she - A fiery, violent dragon. Became the flame deity after becoming moon-cursed, crawling to the highest peak in the sky kingdom, and committing suicide via falling to their death. The sun deity, taking pity upon her, revived him, her body turning into ash and blowing away in the wind, carrying his spirit up to the sky to bring her born anew and angry. Very scary, not to be trifled with. One of the youngest gods. - Solitary, isolated
Sea Deity (SeaWing) - She/her - A normally peaceful yet brutal and dangerous goddess, quick to anger, can turn violent on a dime, just like the sea. Causes much death in her violent tantrums, splashing the sea with her large tail and pulling dragons from all over into her cold embrace. When she is peaceful, she is almost disturbingly peaceful. Must be careful around her, lest you be consumed by the sea. Tight ties with the Moon Deity. - Accessible
Rain Deity (RainWing) - He/him - A relaxed, calm, and colorful god, he is considered the most chill and approachable of the 10 known living gods, doing favors for those as long as they bring him an offering. When he is angered or threatened, he spits out a highly corrosive venom, melting through even bone and metal. Hedonistic, indulging in the greatest of pleasures, eating only the best of foods. His favorite food is grapes, and he smells heavily of grape wine. - Accessible
Ice Deity (IceWing) - They/she - A cold, harsh goddess who lived in the harsh Arctic, her domain surrounded and only reached through dangerous snowstorms. If you manage to find her, she will grant you a wish if you deem her worthy enough. If you are deemed unworthy, she will blast one of your limbs off with a powerful frost breath. After the Queen of the IceWings reached her with her army, she forced the goddess to come to live with her in the palace with little to no resistance, making her serve as an executioner, believing that she herself was higher than her own god. The goddess allows this, as she is still able to live in relative solitude and serve her role. She still takes wishes, but dragons are warned to stay away from her to wish for anything, lest they risk death. - Accessible
Animal Deity (SilkWing) - She/her- A skittish goddess who lives alone in the forest in with her animals, wary of outside contact. Those lucky enough to encounter her are seen as blessed. Not much is known about her except that she cares for and heals animals of all kinds, and that she lives deep in the Poison Jungle. Mates with the Nature Deity.
Nature Deity (LeafWing) - He/they - A strong-willed, courageous god, he cares for all of the vibrant plant life in the Poison Jungle. He is not as elusive as his wife by far, but he is still not a common sight to see. It is said that he is a bit of a trickster, punishing all those who ask him for direction to his wife with a swift end unless they literally didn't know better. Mates with the Animal deity.
Toxin Deity (HiveWing) - He/they/she - A manipulative, toxic, controlling god, he is thought to be the source of all HiveWing venoms. They live in a toxic pool in the Poison Jungle, luring in unsuspecting dragons in with her alluring voice as prey. His scales are said to be resistant to all venoms except for the RainWing Deity's venom, as it is simply too corrosive. The two have never interacted before but would probably strangely get along.
Ancients (BeetleWings) - The Ancients are deities long forgotten, only worshipped by BeetleWings who life far off away on an Island. Not much is known about them except for the fact that they existed at some point in time. They are thought to be dead by all. The old deity of the sun, moon, and earth all reside here and live as ancients, allowing the other gods to watch over the larger tribes, as they find serving their people to be more important given they were pushed off and forced off their island by the other tribes thousands of years ago.
Old Sun Deity- He/him - The Old Sun god, he resides with the beetlewings on the highest peak on their islands, often seen sunbathing. In the afternoon, he comes down and meets with the Old Moon Deity and they dance and bond, united in their perfect unity. He is calm, quiet, and gentle, warmly greeting all his visitors with a lazy, relaxed flick of his tail, granting his kind whatever wish they desire as long as they do so with good reason and with an adequate offering. Wishing for the deaths of others or using his gifts to harm others results in fiery death after being summoned to his chambers. - Use Ruse's Beetlewing base
Old Moon Deity - She/her - A darkly colored melanistic beetlewing who lives in a deep cave below the earth, only coming out in the afternoon to relax with her husband. In the night, she watches over her people, flying around the islands and tending to all those in trouble. If she catches someone committing harm unto another under the cover of night, they are swiftly executed, and their victim is returned to her cave, where she cares for them and watches over then until the brightness of day. She is sensitive to the sun and overheats quickly in the heat of day, but she powers through it for her guests and returns them home. She is somewhat cold and reserved, speaking few words. She is very formal
Earth Deity - They/her - This deity takes care of all animals, plants, and nature for the BeetleWings. They are calm, collected, and intelligent. She is the youngest of the 3 Old Deities, but seemingly does the most work. All the dragons serve an important role, though, despite this. The Old Sun Deity serves an important role while lazing in the sun, and the moon goddess serves an important role while surveying the night.

The Sun deity is NOT a good person!!! he's a dipshit and rather abusive towards the Moon deity, treating her roughly and threatening her on the regular. She doesn't spend much time with him due to this and this lead to their divorce
