Chapter 11: Combustion Man

"What is it?" Kirishima walked up next to him to see where Zuko's fearful eyes were staring.

"It's him!" Zuko began running in that direction leaving the three staring after him.

"Who's-" Kaminari began to say but was quickly cut off when Bakugo began running after him.

"Come on!"

"Why are we running?!" Kaminari frantically wailed.

"Don't know, but it doesn't look good." Kirishima ran next to them when the sounds of explosion rippled through the air causing them to slightly wobble. "An explosion?" Kirishima's eyes immediately went to Bakugo who was just as surprised to see a guy blasting away what was left of the ruins.

"It's not me idiots!" Bakugo gave them an annoyed sideways glare before watching as one of the temples columns began to fall.

"What's going on?!" Kaminari panicked as they watch Zuko already swinging himself down and towards the giant man.

"Come on!" Kirishima shouted back as he and Bakugo quickly made to follow.

"Stop!" Zuko managed to knock the guy off balance in time for his next shot to miss the Avatar which in turn made the others turn their heads at the sound of the voice. "I don't want you hunting the Avatar anymore!"

"Is that Zuko?" Mina peeked up from behind a giant rock.

"And Combustion Man!" Sokka frantically pointed,

Aang looked up in shock as Zuko ran in front of Combustion Man to try and get him to stop as he and Sokka began to carry Toph away.

"The Mission is off. I'm ordering you to stop!"

Growling Combustion man just shoved him away and was getting ready to attack again.

"Stop! If you keep attacking, I won't pay you!" Zuko continued to shout and attempted to fire bend, but Combustion Man managed to grab him by the shirt. "All right, I'll pay you double to stop!"

Realizing that he still wasn't listening Zuko kicked him hard as he once again took aim at Aang causing him to miss again which only angered him more and instead began to take aim at Zuko who tried to create a firewall to stop the attack as he was slowly being pushed towards the edge.

"Die!" Bakugo yelled as he threw himself towards the other guy using his explosions.

"Wait is that...?" Katara looked on in confusion.

"Bakugo." Uraraka breathed out with a smile grazing her lips unaware of Mina's scrutinizing gaze.

"Get down!" Sokka shouted in time for another explosion to barely miss them and Aang stand up from behind the fountain and run out towards Combustion man who was currently trying to aim at Bakugo while fending off Kirishima. Doing a spinning back kick while air bending, Aang kicked up the dust around him towards the man.

"Look!" Mina pointed her finger when they saw Zuko barely hanging onto a vine once he was pushed off the ledge.

"Hang on!" Uraraka shouted, not giving it any thought as she activated her quirk and flung herself in that direction.

Desperately trying to pull himself up just as he felt the vine start to rip, Zuko saw Uraraka's hand reach out towards him.

"Grab onto me!" she yelled urgently when she saw him stare on in shock. "Now!"

Gripping her hand just in time for the vine to give out she felt herself being dragged down by the added weight before she managed to activate her zero gravity on him as well.
