"We are not having this conversation." Zuko looked away when Sokka awaited his reply. "URGH we need to figure out a way out of here."
"You know you're not so bad looking if you just get rid of the attitude and the evil aura surrounding you and following you everywhere you go, but hey what else would you expect from the son of all evil." Sokka shrugged before turning to Bakugo. "Same goes for you Bakugo, I bet girls would be throwing themselves at you if you lose that temper, not to mention you do have pretty long eyelashes."
"He does?" Zuko and Kirishima turned to stare at the blond.
"Alright you, come here!" Bakugo barked right before lunging at him.
While they continued to argue, Zuko sat himself next to the wall remembering a question that's been bothering him and was still left unanswered. "Hey you know you guys never told me where you were from."
Yanking his arms free from Kirishima, Bakugo just went back to glare down the hall. "What's it to you?"
"Nothing." Zuko shrugged. "Since you guys seem to wield some kind of fire bending power I you were from one of the fire nations."
"Well we're not..." Kirishima rubbed the back of his neck hoping they didn't have to get into it again, he hated to keep lying to people who were trying to help them.
"Not sure about all that." Kaminari sadly glanced down at his hand. "I could barely get mine to work since we got here."
"What is it?" Zuko curiously asked since he hadn't seen his, unlike Bakugos and was now really interested to find out.
"It's an electric type."
Jolting sideways Zuko's eyes momentarily widen in surprise to find someone else able to wield something like that, but then found himself frowning when Kaminaris words sank in. "And you can't get it to work?"
"No dude not right now, although I did get something earlier." Kaminari perked up.
"He had a few sparks flying, but that's about it." Uraraka said.
"Glad we agree." Kaminari playfully winked at her making Uraraka giggle.
"You know, there's technique my uncle taught me on how to redirect lightning."
"Yeah?" Kaminari asked.
"Yeah." Frowning Zuko tried to find a way on how to explain it the way his Uncle Iroh had. Remembering the way his uncle had tried to teach him by running his hand down his arm, stomach then out the other arm, but at that time Zuko was too stubborn and impatient to even listen. "He said you have to let the energy in your own body flow and the lightning will follow it successfully turning your opponent's energy against them."
"Like water bending?" Sokka asked.
"Yeah, he kinda invented it by watching the water benders." He smiled fondly thinking of his uncle.
"He sounds like a wise man." Uraraka quietly said picking up on Zuko's somber tone.
"He really is." Zuko lightly chuckled. "Make's a mean cup of tea too."
"Was that after or before you guys tried to kill us off?" Sokka raised an eyebrow.
"Dude..." Kirishima shook his head.
"Yeah yeah I know." Sokka rolled his eyes with a heavy sigh knowing he was right. "I might not like you Zuko, but we're stuck here right now so I guess I'll hold my comments to myself at least for now."
"Have you done it before?" Uraraka suddenly asked as her eyes shifted from Kaminari to the other cell. "Redirect lightning I mean."
"Only once." Thinking back Zuko could vividly remember the feeling and it was nothing like he had imagined. "It felt...terrifying yet exhilarating at the same time. It feels so powerful holding that much energy all at once you know. But it's frightening knowing that with just one wrong move...it could be over."
