Chapter 19: Facing Scorpion

As we fight he hits me with his tail and I go into another wall.

I then see him talk to someone, he's got someone in his ear.

Scorpion: Understood. I'll see the Bigman soon.

The Bigman? Who's that?

He looks at me.

Scorpion: Sorry, Web-Head. I'll have to kick your ass later.

He jump into the air.

Y/N: Oh, no you don't.

I web zip after him and tackle him in mid-air.

We land on a nearby rooftop.

I jump up.

Y/N: You're not going anywhere.

We charge at each other.

I lunge at him slash at him with my Talon Claws.

He falls and I tore through a chunk of his armor.

I look at my hands.

Y/N: It's a little violent, but I do love this ability.

I look at Scorpion on his back.

Y/N: Okay, it's time to take you in.

I take off his helmet and see his face.

Y/N: Who the hell are you?

He looks at me and quickly hits me with his tail.

Just then he throws down a smoke bomb.

The smoke clears and Gargan is gone.

Y/N: Ah, damn it.

I drop down into the streets as the cops show up.

Captain Lance gets out of the lead car.

Quentin: Spider-Man, what happened?

I sigh.

Y/N: Scorpion got away.

Quentin: Scorpion?

Y/N: The bad guy I was fighting. But there is good news, I knocked off his helmet and I saw his face.

He smirks.

Quentin: Great. I gotta stay here and deal with this. Meet me at the precinct later and we'll go over everything.

Y/N: Got it. See ya.

Quentin: See ya.

I salute to him before web swinging away.

We need to find out who Scorpion is and who the Bigman is.

(One hour later)

I'm now back at back at the Spider Cave with Natasha and Harry.

I've just come back from my talk with Captain Lance.

Natasha: So, do you know who this Scorpion is?

Y/N: I do, thanks to Captain Lance.

I sit at the computer and bring up his record from the NYPD.

Y/N: This is him.

Natasha: Mac Gargan.

Harry: Man, this is a bad guy. I mean you see that criminal record, right?

Y/N: Yep.

Natasha: Threw accounts of murder, Armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon.

Y/N: I'm guessing he wasn't loved too much as a kid.

Natasha: And I'm guessing he was working for someone. Did you learn anything from him?

Y/N: Only that he mentioned someone called the Bigman. My guess is that's who he's workin' for?

Harry: This Bigman is probably the one who gave him that Scorpion armor.

Y/N: I'd say so.

I look to Natasha as I stand up.

Y/N: Nat, can you talk to any of your contacts to see if they know anything about this Bigman?

Natasha: Sure. I'll make some calls and see what I can find out.

Y/N: Thank you.

She smiles.

Natasha: Anytime.

Nat puts her hand on my arm before leaving.

Harry: Bro, she's so into you. When are you gonna ask her out?

Y/N: Dude, shut up.

He chuckles.

Harry: Alright, alright.

Y/N: Look, I've gotta get back home to Marky. I'll see ya later.

Harry: Okay, man. See ya.

I go to change out of my suit before leaving.

Hopefully we can find out more about this Bigman.
