Therapy with Will was like watching god read you Romeo and Juliet. Magnificent yet sad. Usually. For some reason, will is quite ecstatic today. He's barely stuttered within the last hour and he keeps smiling. It is quite odd indeed.
"I think I'm in love, Dr. Lecter"
What?...
"With who, Will?"
"Why the Ripper, of course."
of course? as though that's inferred?
"Will, the Ripper is a sadistic psychopath. Are you sure it's love and not simply fascination?"

"No no Dr Lecter. It's definitely love. I mean every time someone talks about him my heart swoons and I get all giddy just thinking about him and the things he's done."
"He's a murderer Will, how could you love him?"

"Are you judging me, Hannibal?"
"Of course not Will. Im just worried that you might.. pursue the Ripper and end up hurt."
"He wouldn't hurt me."

"How would you know that, Will?"
"He's had plenty of opportunities to hurt me yet he hasn't. I mean, he's always one step ahead of us which means he's apart of the investigation in some way so he's definitely been around me yet here I am. Unharmed."
"There's other agents he hasn't hurt as well."
"Yes but anyone close to the truth, like me, was stopped by him. However he just lets me keep putting things together with no interference at all. That has to mean something, Dr Lecter."
"Maybe..."
The timer on my phone goes off signaling the end of our session. I turn is off as we both stand up. I stop will at the door,
"Promise me you won't get yourself hurt, Will?"
"I promise, Dr Lecter."
He leaves. I collapse in my chair. He's in love with me... no,he's in love with the Chesapeake Ripper, there's no way he will love me if he finds out the truth... I'm unlovable...
