"You're a prince?!" Everyone but Bakugo gasped with twinkles in their eyes. "That's so cool!"
"What?"
"So do you have a giant castle?"
"I bet you can shop as much as you want!"
"Hey can I come visit? I bet you know lots of nice ladies!"
"Wait so you're not afraid of me?" Zuko furrowed his brows completely confused. "How are you not afraid?"
"Oh, great you're still here." Kataras furious glare pierced right through Zuko as she stomped over. "I thought we already told you to get lost."
"Please just give me a chance. I know I have what it takes to help Aang-"
"Aang doesn't need you. We don't need you."
"Ouch, that's pretty cold." Kaminari whistled only loud enough for Kirishima and Bakugo to hear.
"Come on. It's going to be a cold night, so we've already prepared rooms for you guys tonight." Katara said to them making sure to completely ignore Zuko as he took a careful step back.
"Katara-"
"No!" she spun around. "I trusted you Zuko and there's no way I'm going to let you near Aang after what you did!"
"I'm sorry-"
Nervously fidgeting with her fingers and biting her lip, Uraraka tried, she really really did try to keep her mouth shut. But the small voice inside kept telling her that she should try and help somehow. The moment she parted her mouth she saw Bakugo slowly shaking his head as if he already knew what she was about to do.
"Don't you-"
"Hey guys, why don't we calm down a bit."
Snapping their mouth shut, both Katara and Zuko turned towards the quiet gravity user.
"I-I mean maybe that's just a misunderstanding, but I'm sure it's nothing you can't work out." She nervously smiled rubbing the back of her head.
"Yeah, Urarakas right. Where we come from there's always a way to help." Kirishima started to say but was just as quickly shut off when Katara settled him with a stern glare.
"Oh is that right? Zuko chased us all around the world trying to kill us and capture the avatar, he attacked our village, stole my mother's necklace, and used that to track us. Not to mention he is the son of the most hated man in the world and prince of the fire nation! The same nation that took my mother away from us!"
"And he sent combustion man after us!" Sokka pointed his boomerang at the fire nation prince coming up from behind his sister.
"Well, that's not really his name..." Zuko awkwardly said. "Look I know there's no reason for any of you to trust me-"
"We don't." Katara coldly said.
"I'm trying to apologize and explain to you all that I'm not that person anymore!"
"Why should we believe you?!"
"Woah...drama!" Mina whispered eagerly watching the scene like this was something she was watching on tv.
"Why are you so quiet?" Zuko defeatedly turned to see Aang already frowning at him. "You once said that you thought we could be friends, that I still had good in me."
"Theres' a lot of things I was wrong about. But now I know there's no way any of us can trust you. Not after everything you've done."
"Fine." Dropping his eyes to the ground Zuko lifted his hands. "If you won't accept me as a friend then maybe you'll take me as a prisoner."
