Chapter 7: Avatar The Last Airbender

"Thanks, Sokka." Aang sarcastically rolled his eyes.

"Hey, I'm trying to help." Sokka gave Aang an apologetic look which seemed to ease the avatar.

"Yeah, relax guys. Maybe Sokkas got a point." Toph said eyes fixated on the ground.

"It's alright Katara." Sensing the tension in the air, Aang quickly shook his head to try and get passed this and instead lighten the mood. "So, if you don't mind me asking, where are you guys from?"

"Around." They said in unison which just made Toph laugh out.

"Sorry, I just thought of one of Sokkas jokes." She waved off.

"Oh, really which one?" Sokka eagerly asked to which Toph just shrugged.

Frowning Aang gave them all suspicious looks. "Well do you guys have any bending powers?"

"Well..." Mina's smirk unashamedly began to grow only quickly being cut off by a beet red Uraraka.

"He means quirks Mina! Quirks!" Uraraka embarrassingly waved her hands in front of her face.

"For fucks sake..." Groaning Bakugo went to sit back down wishing he was still knocked out at the moment.

"I knew that...." Mina wickedly grinned shooting a small wink at Kirishima whose face turned even redder.

"Kill me now." Bakugo grumbled now placing an arm over his face. "If this headache doesn't kill me than this will."

"Wait I'm still trying to understand how we got here." Kaminari said.

"We were on our way to find the western air temples when we came across you guys. We had to make the rest of the way on foot so that way Appa could get some rest from carrying everyone. But he didn't mind carrying you three since it didn't seem like you guys would make the trip otherwise." Aang curiously tilted his head. "What was wrong with you guys anyways?"

"A damn hangover is what this shit is." Bakugo grumbled.

"OH!" Aang eagerly grinned in understanding until it slightly faltered. "What's a hangover?"

Wrapping an arm over his shoulder Sokka gave him a sly wink. "Don't worry buddy, it's something I'll make sure you'll experience once this whole thing's over."

"Sokka!" Katara scolded, placing her hands on her hips.

"What? I was just kidding Katara...." Sokka gave her a sheepish grin, satisfied once his sister turned her back. "No, I wasn't." he quietly whispered to Aang who just blinked back at him.

"So, about your powers." Katara asked again. "What are they?"

"Well, I already know what your bending skills are like." Aang nodded at Uraraka who just continued to blush, staring wide eyed at her friends who were just quietly chuckling.

"Clam it..." Peeking an eye open Bakugo grit his teeth together which immediately silenced them.

"You have some type of air bending power." Aang continued to excitingly speak. "Which is odd since you're not a monk..."

"Erm yeah..." Uraraka awkwardly rubbed the back of her head.

"And you obviously have some sort of earth bending power?" Aang frowned trying to make sure he understood Kirishima right before.

"Oh really? Can I see?" Toph joined in.

"Sure." Kirishima grinned and instantly used his hardening quirk to which Toph only blankly stared until she started to happily grin.

"That's great!" Toph chuckled pointing to her feet. "We should train some day."

"Not you too..." Kirishima quietly whispered to himself, keeping the grin on his face while Bakugo smirked back.

"You have some type of water quirk if my memory serves me, right?" Aang asked Mina next, who just cringed.

"Sort of...but I rather not right now."

"Ok, what about you two?" Aang asked the two blonds next, since they were out the whole time, and he was curious to know what it was.

Walking over to stand next to Toph, Katara patiently waited for them to answer, being just as curious. "As long as it's not a fire type."

"What the hell does that mean?" Bakugo narrowed his eyes.

Aang being just as curious as everyone was about to ask again. However, he didn't get the chance once Toph interrupted them pointing behind herself.

"I'm afraid that'll have to wait. We have a visitor."

Just then Appa moved out of the way to show a guy with dark hair and close to their age with an unmistakably scar on his face awkwardly lift his hand up in a hesitant gesture of greeting as the 'Team Avatar' both stared on in shock and anger.

"Hello...Zuko here."
