Sharing an amused smile with Uraraka, Katara shook her head. "No, this whole air temple is upside down. The air nomads build it that way."
"Oh ok, that makes sense I guess..." Kaminari continued to rub his throbbing head.
"Obviously." Bakugo rolled his eyes secretly glad someone had asked that stupid question since he was doubting the fact that he was 100% sober but now knew for sure he was.
"Ok now about this Santa Claus-" Sokka started but was cut off when a giant rush of air blew past them which made them each quickly cover their faces with their arms.
Turning to look over her shoulder, Uraraka gave a beaming smile once she recognized who it was, and the giant sky bison was quick to move in her direction.
"Shit. Uraraka!" Getting himself up on wobbly legs once he heard the bison let out a giant growl or yawn, he wasn't quite sure, neither did he care at the moment as long as that thing didn't dare get any closer to her.
"Hey relax man." Kirishima placed a firm grip on Bakugo's shoulder. "Everything's fine."
"The hell it is!" Bakugo attempted to take another step forward with his palms at the ready but stopped when someone appeared in front of the sky bison holding a staff and meeting Bakugo's piercing stare with a pleading one.
"Don't hurt Appa! He's friendly!" The small bald boy dressed in monks' robes and tattoo on his head pleaded which made Bakugo take a defensive stance since something told him that if provoked, this boy wouldn't back down and could possibly hold his own in a fight.
When they heard Appa move again followed by someone giggling the boy saw Bakugo lower his palms as his eyes fixated on Uraraka smiling once Appa licked her and she fondly started scratching his head.
"I know I missed you too boy." Uraraka continued to laugh when Appa started to playfully nudge her.
"See friendly!" The boy points his staff towards them to prove his point. "Appa wouldn't hurt anyone."
"Sorry about that." Kirishima rubbed the back of his neck. "Bakubro and Kaminari just woke up, so we're still filling them in."
"Bakubro?" The boy quizzically eyed him.
"Man, Bakugo you're no fun!" Mina whined letting the bison or Appa as they seemed to call it, allow her down. "And I was having so much fun flying around too."
"You can jump back on your broom for all I care Pinky." Bakugo quickly brushed off as she gawked back at him. "Who are you guys?"
"Just call us team Avatar!" Sooka proudly explained.
Rolling her eyes Katara walked closer to the bald boy. "This is the Avatar Aang."
"The who?" Both Bakugo and Kaminari shared a confused look.
"You're kidding right?" Katara furrowed her brows. Who on this earth didn't know about the avatar would have to be crazy. "How do you guys not know about the avatar? The avatar is a master of all four elements and only the bridge between the spiritual world and the physical one. And not only that, but he is responsible for keeping the balance of the whole planet as well as restore peace." Katara's indignant voice rang around the temple getting louder and louder as she went.
"Wow no pressure..." Aang quietly mumbled remembering why they were hiding in the first place.
"Calm down Katara." Sokka placed a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe they just never heard about it. It has been a while, and they aren't the first people we've come across that don't believe us. I mean he has been missing for a hundred years."
