I was laying in my bed when I got a text message from one of my friends it was Britney.
Bri❤️: Heyyy I'm having a party rn just wanna ask if you wanna come?
Me: Um sure I'll ask my mom
I sighed and got up heading to the kitchen where my mom was cooking
"Mommy it smell nice man weh yah cook?" I went behind her looking over her shoulder trying to get a sneak peak of what she was cooking but she pushed me back with her shoulder
"When mi finish yoh will know" She rolled her eyes hitting the pot with the silver spoon causing some of the gravy to fall off it and closed the pot causing the remaining smoke that was coming from it to fade away I rolled my eyes playfully
"Uhm mommy mi did a come ask if yuh could a mek mi guh ova Bri she ah Ave party and she ask if me wah come." I smiled nervously at her waiting for her answer
She turned around and looked at me crossing her arms "Party? Zai yuh nuh see how late it be? A 9:00 p.m and me nuh tell yuh fi stop talk to dah likkle girl deh she nuh look friendly she seem like trouble. No you can't go."
My smile quickly faltered turning into a frown I groaned "Mommy please a just one likkle time."
She then glared at me "Pickney mi seh no gwan up a yuh room man and stop badda me." She kissed her teeth turning back around to the pot to continue cooking whatever she was cooking
I huffed and went back up in my room and closed the door I sat on my bed taking my phone back up to text Britney that I wouldn't be able to make it but then I had an idea
Me: Britney could you ask your brother if he could pick me up and drop me at your house please?
Bri❤️: uhm sure.
I smiled and got up going to my bathroom to get changed

I then put my locs hair in two space bun I got a text from Britney saying that her brother was outside waiting on me
I smiled then went over to my door locked it with my key then went over to my bed and placed two pillows underneath the sheets creating a lump on the bed incase my mom decided to come into the room
I went over to the window and gently opened it and jumped out.
