It was a Friday afternoon, after school. Me, Wendy and Tracy stayed at school and went to the laboratory to check on our science experiment. We went into the laboratory, walked up to our set-up.

We carefully observed it and I figured our something weird, although we had already turned off the Bunsen burner, the container was still boiling! As I reached out my hand to touch the container, I started to feel that something's strange. 'Guys,' I said, 'don't you think that it's kinda weird that the Bunsen burner was already turned off but the mixture inside the container is still boiling?' They both nodded and agreed to my point.

When I tuned back to the set-up, Wendy suddenly shouted, 'Hey! Watch out!' While Trac pulled me by the arm, I noticed that the boiling mixture was spilling out of the container non-stop. I was shocked and stood in my place as still as a stone about that we encountered.

All of a sudden, mist from the container began filling the lab. We coughed and choked hardly we mist began to fill our sights. As we opened our eyes from the tragic incident, I had to blink hard as I don't know where we were, of course, I knew that we're in the lab, but everything became extremely gigantic in the room.

'It is me, or have we shrank into a mini person?' asked Tracy confusingly. The looks on our faces were as shocked as a duckling being lost from its family. I looked at Wendy and she was just kneeling down at the corner of the table, paralysed.

'Oh God! What are we going to do? How can we go back home in this situation? Who's going to help us?' I wondered frantically, hoping someone would notice us immediately, but it was no hope.

'Why don't we try to climb up the table and see if anything or anyone can help us?' Tracy suggested. Me and Wendy agreed.

We got up, tried to climb up by the table leg, but it was an extreme failure. We tried no tried again, but the table leg was extra slippery, and also since we shrank.

We started to hesitate when we heard footsteps coming our way, I thought that our science teacher is going to notice us and help us but he wasn't even in the room!

Instead of our science teacher appearing to save our precious lives, we bumped into something behind us. My heart pumped and my body shivered from what I saw. Ants! We bumped into four ants for goodness sake! And surprisingly, they can talk! But there was one teeny-tiny problem, it's just that Wendy is scared of insects! I once heard of a rumour that ants can actually communicate with humans. I tried to ask them any questions, but I was speechless as I was shocked by this incident.

Luckily, one of the ants spoke up and asked what we were doing. Tracy explained the incident to them while they listened carefully and try to crack the problem to our situation.

At last, they friendly offered us to ride on their back, but first we have to deal with Wendy with her afraid of insects, and as we finally reached onto the table next the Bunsen burner, we thanked the ants and gave them a piece of small sized A4 paper as an exchange of their fruit, since we both thought that it would be interesting if we exchanged things between insects and humans and we finally said goodbye.

Just then, we noticed a janitor came in and we shouted at the top of our voices ro make her notice. Fortunately, for us, she was cleaning the table with water and 'Splash!', she accidentally spilled the small container of water all over the table, and finally we tuned back to our normal size!

The janitor was so shocked about why we these were suddenly sitting on the table that she just fainted, we just stood up and ignored her and walked to our table to drop down the results of our experiment.

We tidied up our experiment set-up and table, and left the laboratory at last m this was such an exciting experience of being really small, and even as tiny as ants!

(And so that's the end of this story~)
