Chapter 4: Facing Yami

Start from the beginning

"Ok, what is with you?!" Uraraka snapped.

"Hey listen, if you're going to tell me to apologize to your boyfriend than you can save your breath." Gauche said, turning to walk off.

"He's not my boyfriend!"

"She's not my girlfriend!"

Widening her eyes, she turned to see the same expression on Bakugo's face before he gave her an annoyed glare crossing his arms to look away. Feeling the sudden tightness in her throat after his outburst she quickly tried to hide the fact that it bothered her. "Gauch I wasn't talking to you."

"WHAT?!" Now whirling on her, Bakugo saw her averting her gaze and instead looked at Gauche who seemed like he couldn't care less.

"Whatever, I'll go check on Grey."

Once Gauche was out of earshot or at least in Urarakas standards not so much Bakugos, she winced once she still felt him standing behind her.

"What the hell was that?"

"Ugh just go train." She spoke over her shoulder marching back inside.

"What was all that about?" Vanessa raised an amused eyebrow watching the two.

"Oh, don't worry about them." Kirishima grinned.

"Yeah, this is pretty normal for them." Kaminari snickers watching luck jump around. "Dude you seriously need to teach me that."

'Keep calm Ochaco he's not even worth it. Remember your happy place? Stay in your happy place.' She mentally kept repeating to herself unaware of the furious stomps following behind.

"Oi you didn't answer my damn question!"

"And I don't think I have to." she firmly said, picking up her pace.

"What the hell's you damn problem?!"

"Me?!" she screeched whipping her head around. "There's nothing wrong with me."

"Yes, there is! You've been moody since we got here." He gestured around them. "You barely even speak to me and if possible, you've been bitchier too."

"Excuse me?" Scoffing, she gave him a small smile feeling her anger crawling to the surface.

"Don't fuckin tell me you're still pissed at what happened in the forest." Watching her shift uncomfortable he took a deep breath in to try and calm himself. He didn't know why all of a sudden she just decided to act so mad at him so the only conclusion he could come up with for the last few days whenever he would attempt to talk to her, and she would blow him off was just that. He was meaning to apologize for some time now but that was the problem. "Look I've been meaning to apologize for that, I was a complete asshole-"

"Can't argue that." She huffed.

Pressing his lips together and taking another calm breath through his nose, he tried his best to remind himself to not lash out. "Round-face I'm fuckin trying to-"

"You know what, there's no point. You said what you said, and you never say something you don't mean right? But remember these people are trying to help us. So as much as I know it's hard for you to try and be civil to the only people we know here, think of it this way- the faster we find a way out of here the faster we won't have to deal with each other anymore." And with that she continued on her way not sparing another glance back.

"Alright now since I'm lending you guys my wheels; you guys better make this quick. Just because we haven't' heard anything from the Eye of The Midnight sun doesn't mean we shouldn't be prepared." Yami said from the couch as he watched some of his squad disappear through the portal Finral made.
