First of all, all the hate is spread towards Mayor Humdinger when, in reality, he's just a bald old guywho's a momma's boy (shoutout to Helga Humdinger) who loves cats and the color purple. What else is he? HOMELESS. Heliterally lives in a cave most of the time, taking care of SIX kittens AND himself. HAVE YOU EVEN SEEN FOGGY BOTTOM? That hell hole is mad depressing. It looks like it's just fog, no people, no buildings.

HE IS ALSO POOR. In Pups Save A Pie Clone, he gets excited about hearing that there are FREE pies, even asking for MORE than one. This means he most likely can't afford any sort of food and is starving half of the time. "How did he get his belly then?" you may ask. HE STOLE FOOD FROM ADVENTURE BAY. That's why he's seen as a villain he steals stuff and is a cheater in competitions due to being competitive.

In Pups Save A Soapbox Derby, Mayor Humdinger was on a rocket (or smth else) while Skye was instructing him on how to get down safely. She was repeatedly saying "lean" but he misinterpreted it as "green" and "clean". When he heard her say "clean", he said, "Of course I'm clean" followed afterward by this: "I shower twice a month. Whether I need to or not." This shows he DOESN'T GET TO SHOWER. In another episode, his laundry is done by his kittens, this laundry is then dried by Skye flying them around, so he also doesn't have anything to do his laundry with.

In the episode "Pups Save Friendship Day" He challenged Adventure Bay to a "friend-off". He wanted Foggy Bottom to win by placing multiple sweets in baskets and sending them. People from Adventure Bay went to Foggy Bottom because there were so many dentists there. He felt good when Mayor Goodway offered to assist him as we flew away in the bouquet of balloons. When Mayor Goodway told him they were friends, he seemed overjoyed to hear he had at least one buddy. So he's just mad lonely.

He wasn't saved by Paw Patrol, which is probably the reason for his hatred. He also has no one to talk to. This man is just full of mental issues. BUT HE'S ALSO CUNTY. In "Pups Save a Puffy Mayor", it is revealed he took up the occupation of both a fashion model and hand model, to pay for college. He made it on the cover of a magazine, which he keeps in a chest to this day. He also knows how to sew very well and he says he's the one who made puffy jackets cool (And he lowkey did).

Basically, he's like a grumpy, gay/fabulous, uncle with a hatred for kids and dogs who's also homeless and full of mental health issues. He's also a manchild but I find it entertaining.

It should also be noted that before Season 2 he wasn't a very prominent villain, while antagonistic towards Mayor Goodway, he mostly played fairly because of confidence in his record of winning and generally being undefeated in most competitions he participated in. He ONLY became a villain, when he was defeated in said challenges, by the PAW PATROL. Basically, Mayor Goodway can't do shit on her own and started using Paw Patrol to help her win competitions which led to Mayor Humdinger doing his manchild and villainous activities.
