"Well, besides the fact that the water is probably filthy and could cause a lot of health problems, Lake Lyn has hallucinogenic properties." Alyssa quipped.

"What?" Antonio exclaimed, alarmed.

"An Iratze should be able to cure her, but we need to get to her soon." Izzy said, worry tinting her tone of voice.

"Why, what happens if we don't get to her soon?" Antonio asked in concern.

"She could lose her mind forever." Izzy said.

"Luckily for us, Tony and I can track her down quickly." Alyssa said, pulling a ring from her pocket from her pocket and giving it to Antonio. To the surprise of Izzy and Jace, his hands began to glow like that of a warlock's as he enclosed the ring in his fist.

"She's this way." He said, pointing in the direction he was being led.

"Let's get a move on." Alyssa said, following after Antonio. Deciding to save their questions for later, Jace and Izzy followed behind.

Antonio led them somewhere in the forest, where they found Clary sitting on a rock. She had her head in her palm.

"Clary?" Antonio called for her. The redhead jumped up at his voice, looking confused. It looked as if she didn't recognize any of them.

"Who are you?" She asked, adopting a defensive stance.

"It's me, Antonio."

"I don't know you." The redhead said, shaking her head. Alyssa realized that her actions were now like that of a skittish animal.

"You're confused. We're here to help you." Jace said, also noticing what Alyssa had realized. Izzy pulled out her stele and moved towards Clary slowly.

"Just hold still." Clary backed away from her.

"Where's Jace? And Antonio?" Clary asked.

Before Izzy could activate her Iratze, Clary began to fight her. Antonio tried to hold her from behind, but Clary kicked him back. Izzy was able to get a hold on her, but just as Jace tried to activate the rune, his stele was knocked out his hand, and Clary pulled herself from Izzy's grasp.

"Guys, guys, stop, stop. She's scared. She's in fight or flight mode." Alyssa said, stopping the others. She then slowly approached Clary and began to speak softly and in a soothing manner. "Hey, hey, Clary. I'm Alyssa. Look, we're not gonna hurt you."

"You're not gonna get the chance." Clary said, then went to stomp on Jace's stele to break it, but Alyssa got to it first.

"Hey, hey. Stop, look, I'm putting it away." She said, making a show of putting it in her holster. "We just wanna help you, alright? We know where Jace and Antonio are, okay?" The others looked at her a little confused until Jace received a message from her through the bond. He nodded at her in understanding.

"Where are they?" Clary asked, still wary of the girl she could not recognize.

"They're safe, and we can take you to them, okay. You just have to come with us, okay."

Unnoticed by Clary, Jace quietly and slowly made his way behind her, taking care not to alert her of his presence. Receiving a signal from Alyssa, he quickly wrapped his arms around Clary from behind, causing her to start struggling, but Jace's hold was firm and tight.

"Let go of me." She said, struggling to get out of Jace's grip.

"Hey, it's okay. Everything's gonna be okay." Jace said, as his eyes lit up, activating his own Iratze and somehow extending it to Clary, healing her.
