FALLEN

Lonesome figure, starry night sky
Once dreamt of heaven, but it was just too high
National anthem is our faded dreamscape
These chains 'round my neck, I just can't escape

Once was flying freely, now a wingless dove
I tried to fly again, I fell from high above
These eyes once was hopeful, now an empty space
The glimmer had vanished, stuck on this dead phase

Once was standing tall, now hiding in the bushes
The fire was too powerful, it turned me into ashes
Once was painting color, now spreading gray
The fast times was too fast, what will they all say?

Once was enthusiastic, now excitement left
The happiness in hand found him guilty of theft
He stole his own happiness, guilt is in both ends
What's the use of living, giving up is now a trend

Forgot about the centerfold, priority had fallen
Time stops to count, there is no way to heaven
Yearning for completion, turns out I was the one missing
Desires I tried to reach, desires I now am leaving

"Beloved wakeful thoughts, please just leave this mind"
Came crushing the illusions, reality won't bind
The void kept on spreading, I wish this was pretend
The horror's in this hall, reality will end
