"come on keep pushing baby "

axl said to me as he held my hand while I squeezed the living day lights out his poor hand
my nails dug into his skin

"keep pushing y/n  your doing great " my midwife said looking up from me from my legs that's were spread apart.
Little beads  of sweat was were on my forehead as I pushed harder and harder.

i was giving birth to our daughter.
it was hurting so bad

I've been in labour for the past hour having contractions here and there.
i was having a home birth too.

i was currently laid on the couch as my midwife  a couple other doctors were surrounding me.
my husband was right by my side. Supporting me.
he's never took his eyes off me or left my side once

beta ,his personal assistant/ mom was on my other side. beta has been with axl since the early 90s. he sees her as a mother figure and even sometimes calls him mom.
she's never really got along with his real mother Sharon back in Lafayette Indiana .

beta has been with him for years and he loves her dearly. We all do
she puts axl first for everything. He deserves a real mother . everyone does

pains shoot up my legs and to my hips. i couldn't do it.
I'm in agony

this was my first child and axl's too.
"I-I can't do it " I cried in pain and stopped pushing.
i put my head back onto the cushions. Axl pushed a few hairs out of my sweaty forehead.
"you can baby you can " he says in a sweet tome

i looked up at him and beta wiped my cheeks. "you've got this honey just think in a few for seconds she'll be out " she smiled squeezing my other hand and rubbed her hand up my arm.

"right for this one I just need you to keep pushing for me y/n ,okay and she will be finally here " my midwife said and I looked at axl and he nodded at me leaning down and kissing my head.

"you can do it honey" he whispered and I went for it.
i pushed with all I had in me and my midwife was egging me on. "Keep pushing keep pushing I can see her head " she said happily and beta began to get emotional

I screamed as I pushed and it felt like I breaking in two. i felt everything
she was there

"she's here she's here " my midwife yelled and I heard a cry from my daughter.i started to cry and Axl hugged me
"I'm so proud of you " I cried into his neck and he kissed my head multiple times

i leaned back and put my head back and cried and beta kissed my head stroking my cheek ,wiping away the tears
"Congratulations honey " she said with tears forming in her eyes.

the nurses cut the umbilical cord

i looked up at Axl and he had tears in his eyes. i knew how much this meant to him. he's always wanted a child of his own. he's always wanted to be a father. He loves kids.
due to his childhood he never thought he would be a good dad but everybody knows he's going to be an amazing one.

i looked over and saw my healthcare team check over our daughter but I couldn't see her as they were all huddled around her checking her form head to toe
her cries filled the room which made me cry uncontrollably. "i-is she okay " I say sobbing looking over at the nurses with worry in my eyes.

"she's all good " your midwife walked over as the nurses were going her weighing , foot size and writing down all the information.
" All healthy , weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces , female and time 4:07am on the 15th April 2024" I heard one of the doctors say out loud

I cried more when I heard her say all healthy. axl leaned down cupping my face kissing my lips passionately.
i put my hand on the back of his head kissing him harder
i heard a click of a camera behind me watching the beautiful moment.
Axl pulled back and put his forehead on mine.

he looked into my eyes with a wide smile. tears were coming down his cheeks
"I love you so much " I said and kissed my lips again.

He pulled back and I saw my midwife coming over holding our daughter. she had a head full of light ginger ish hair.
definitely takes after her father

"congratulations guys " my midwife smiled at me and Axl and handed me our daughter. she was crying bur as soon as my midwife laid her on my chest ,skin to skin she calmed down.

her little cries got quite.
i heard axl let out a little sob beside me as he looked at our beautiful creation. she looked so much like him but she had my plumped lips. Everything else was axl

Beta came to axl's side and kissed his head ,rubbing his back. i smiled and axl wiped my tears
"H-hi baby " i sniffled looking down at her and she was the most beautiful baby I have ever seen.
she was a little chunk . You can tell I was being fed good during my pregnancy. blame axl.

he was the one constantly telling me to eat.
"she's so beautiful " Axl whispered looking at her . He couldn't take her eyes off her. he leaned down and stroked her little fingers and she Im grasped onto his index finger.
her fingers were so tiny Compared to his finger.

"she's got your nose " i say smiling looking at axl and he wiped a tear away that was rolling down his cheek.
he couldn't stop smiling and looking at her.
"she's got your lips look " Axl said pointing to her plumped red lips and I nodded and kissed her forehead lightly.

"have you guys got any names in mind " My midwife smiled looking down at our daughter
oh yes names

well axl has a bunch load

i looked at axl and smiled knowing he'd already planned it
"he does " I chuckled and beta and my midwife laughed

axl smiled and looked at me. i smiled back at him and he intertwined our fingers together as he head my hand
"ermmm" he hummed looking at his daughter with love in his eyes

love just filled his eyes. it was so pure

"I've got one in mind " he smiled and looked up at me.
Beta smiled looked down at him as she dead stood over me looking.
patience Elizabeth rose.

Elizabeth was beta's real name but she gets called beta for short but it was also his real mothers middle name too. His real mom was called Sharon Elizabeth Bailey.

i looked up at beta and smiled. Her eyes widened and she looked down at axl.
"R-really " she said and started to get emotional. Axl nodded standing up and hugging her ,rubbing her.
i heard another camera click behind me

"patience" I mumbled to myself looking down at my daughter as he laid there kicking her feel every once in a while and trying to move her head.

and then suddenly her eyes started to flutter open.
Her green but mixed with a tint of blue eyes looked into mine and then around. I gasped and axl quickly pulled back from the hug turning to me with a worried expression

"she opened her eyes " i whispered to him and he came to me leaning down and patience looked at her father right away
"she has your eyes axl " beta happily said putting her hand on his shoulder.

i looked at axl and tears formed in his eyes again.
she looked so much like axl but also me at the same time. It was crazy.

she was so beautiful and pure. Axl leaned in and kissed her forehead head lightly.
"hi sweetheart " he said in a quite voice and patience blinked a couple times.
axl rubbed his finger down her arm gently to her hand
her hand latched onto her fathers finger once again.

I can just tell these two are going to be inseparable. she's definitely going to be daddy's girl. 100%. No question about it

she was my world and axl's world too
i will do anything to protect her from this world.
