Daddy's girl, precious, fragile,

One drop and she'll break.

Now daddy's on drugs,

she's alone, and it's too late

She stands alone, only whispering, never talking,

It rains, and she keeps walking,

Just walking.

Never fits, broken puzzle piece,

Mama yells, she falls, confused at what she sees,

She doesn't understand what she did wrong, and her days are becoming too long.

She cries as the house is rocking,

The wind isn't ever stopping,

But still she keeps walking. Just walking.

The dawn brings peace, but darkest of thoughts,

She knows the game of life she's lost.

She ponders, questions, screams into the midst,

"What have I done to deserve this?"

She listens, hears the rain is stopping,

But the eyes remain cold, and the wind is talking.

But still she keeps walking. Just walking.
