Chapter 2 - I do

Gold's POV
A year later

Funneh and Rainbow helped me put on my dress and I stepped back to show them. I'm so glad they were able to come! "You look beautiful," Rainbow smiled at me. "Thank you," I smiled back. "So glad we were able to come!" Funneh added. "I know! I'm sorry I couldn't make it to yours Rainbow," I frowned. "It's okay, I understand how work is," she half smiled. The door to the room opened and Lunar, Aly, and Evelyn came in. "Oh my gosh! You look so pretty!" Lunar covered her mouth. "Thank you," I smiled. "You really do! Kyran is one lucky man," Aly giggled.

I giggled as well. "I'm lucky too," I smiled. The girls all wore light colors, Funneh had a baby blue dress, Rainbow had a baby pink, Lunar had lavender, Evelyn had like a yellow, and Aly had a light green on. "The ceremony should be starting soon, are you ready?" Evelyn asked me. I slowly nodded my head. "Yes! But i'm nervous," I shook my head. There was a knock at the door. Lunar walked over and opened it. Draco walked in. As soon as we looked at each other he smiled. "Wow.. you look beautiful," he smiled. "Thank you Draco," I smiled as well. He walked over to me and hugged me.

"I can't believe this, we met when we were like 7 and look at us now.." he said. "I know, Rainbow is already married! You and Aly are engaged.. and now Kyran and I are getting married." I explained as I looked around at all of us. "Guys I don't wanna ruin the moment.. but the ceremony is about to start," Funneh reminded us. "Let's start heading down," I said. We all headed out the room and down to the ceremony. All the guests were already inside and Kyran was in his spot already. The guys were waiting since they were the groomsmen and waiting for my bridesmaids so they could walk down together. The guys saw as we walked over to them and they smiled. "You look nice," Evan said. "Wait till Kyran sees you, he's gonna be crying," Alec teased.

The girls and I giggled. "Gold!" Funneh pointed over. I looked at where she pointed, I saw my dad waiting. "Wow.. you look so beautiful. I can't believe the day has come," my dad said with teary eyes. "Don't cry! I'll cry!" I giggled as I tried not to cry. "Let's start getting ready," he smiled. The ceremony was about to start so we all started taking our places. Funneh and Alec made their entrance first. The guests all started to cheer. Next was Lunar and Evan. They even threw in some poses which made me laugh. Rainbow and Senpai skipped down the aisle together. Next was Draco and Aly danced down the aisle and it made everyone laugh. I love my friends. Finally was Evelyn and Liam. They were waving at everyone as they made it to their spots.

Finally the wedding music began to play. That's my cue.. I fixed my dress and hair and my dad grabbed my arm. We turned the corner to walk over to the door. As we stood there, all the guests began to stand up. We slowly started walking down the aisle and I made eye contact with Kyran. We held eye contact and I noticed as his eyes got watery. I smiled and felt my eyes do the same. Somehow I managed to get myself to not cry but Kyran had some tears run down his face. We made it to the end and my dad let me go. I walked over to stand infront of Kyran. "You look so beautiful.." he whispered. "Thank you," I smiled. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gathered here today to celebrate the drawing together of these two wonderful people, Kyran and Gold!" the priest started off.

I actually don't know much about weddings lol we're gonna skip to when they start saying their vows!👀😅

"Let's start with your wedding vows," the priest smiled at us. Kyran smiled as he looked down at his paper. "Gold, when we met during our sophomore year of high school.. I knew I liked you. You were so pretty.. and sweet.. and so funny! I am so glad we met and I wouldn't want it any other way. Thank you for giving me the chance to get to know you and for being your boyfriend for 5 years! Teenage me knew that someday you would be my wife. You were there for me along with Alec and Funneh. I promise i'll always be there for you when you need me, there will never be a day that you won't have me there with you. I promise to take care of you and love you always, you mean the world to me and i'll always love you," he said.

My eyes began to get watery again and I looked down at my paper. "Kyran, I want to thank you for everything. From you letting Funneh and I stay at your house when we first became friends, to you being there for me during my first heartbreak. You were always a good friend to me, then we started dating and you were an even more amazing boyfriend. You mean so much to me and you have always been there Kyran. I don't know what I did to deserve you. I promise to never leave you and always be there like you've done with me. With this ring, I promise that you'll never have to face the world alone. I love you Kyran and i'm so thankful to have you in my life, now we'll be together for the rest of our lives," I cried a little. He wiped my tears and I smiled at him.

The priest finished his speech, he looked at us as he was about to ask the big question. "Kyran, do you take Gold to be your wife, to live together in holy matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" he asked. Kyran and I made eye contact and he smiled. "I do.." he said. He then looked at me. "Gold, do you take Kyran to be your husband, to live together in holy matrimony, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" he asked me.

"I do," I quickly said. "The rings please," he asked. Kyrans little brother was the one who brought them over to us. I placed his ring on for him and he placed mine on for me. "Kyran repeat after me, I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love." he said. Kyran smiled as he looked at me. We held hands and looked each other in the eye. "By virtue of the authority vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," he finally said. Kyran grabbed onto my back and waist while I grabbed his face and we kissed. Cheers were heard everywhere. We both backed away and giggled. I looked over at the crowd and they were clapping and smiling. I then looked over at the girls. Rainbow was crying. She's basically like our older sister. I smiled at them and Kyran and I held hands as we walked down the aisle. This is the best day of my life.
