On a cold winter afternoon, my friends and I decided to go to the hotel we went to as kids about 7 years ago so after a 3-hour drive there we saw it was shut down or abandoned we thought it was because of the cases of the missing kids.

Coreys Pov-

I remember these tall robot-type things, but I don't know. we decided to explore the old hotel but one of us was scared of what could happen, but they always watch horror movies and read books about stuff like that, so they were just paranoid about it, so we went in. The furniture was old and looked terrible the doors were half on and looked like scratches everywhere.. I was wondering why and what happened... I know something bad, but I don't know what happened to the staff; their stuff is still here... They would've taken it with them come on what happened this place didn't shut down because of the missing kids now did it.. I go looking for my friends to see they aren't in the room we said, I start to get worried as I look for them frantically yelling out their names, where are you guys please come back I say under my breath. I start crying worried sick until I hear his faint voice I jump up and start running towards it, crying for him, yelling out until I hear his scream.. of pain and fear of what's happening to my friends. I yell out for him running faster than ever before I cant lose him what if they are with him what if.... no no no I think to myself they can't be the have to they can fight right I still need to help. I start running faster than before thinking I can lose them not just yet...

2 hours later

it's like I have been running for days I can't think anymore all I want is them to be back just why did it have to be them why not me I start to cry, I start to fall to my knees from the pain I start to think this is the end until I hear them yelling for me they are okay or is it in my head, I look up slowly because how tired I am from the past three hours and I see his shoes I try to get up but can't I am to tired to move I can't anymore it takes to much energy I look at him sadly like I haven't eaten or been taken care of days or weeks he sits down next to me from what I could see but after a little everything went black...

Colins Pov-

where are we, we need to find Corey where could she be? I started trying to find where she could be we got lost in the forest next to the hotel but we didn't know what way to go, we tried splitting up but we didn't trust what could be in the forest and I didn't want to move far because Corey could have an idea where we are so she can find us but I don't know we need to find her fast before it gets to later and there are animals outside. I started yelling for Corey to see if she could hear us even if she couldn't we knew if we did long enough she would find us but we weren't sure, hazel started crying because she missed Corey so much and what if something happened to her, until we saw something large and tall in the forest we all start running for our lives scream till we heard her voice in the distance we start yelling until the thing grabs my leg, I am scared for my life and then I see ghost running to help with the others. we get out after 2 hours and the robot thing runs off. Still, then we heard a person crying we thought it that someone we knew but when I saw her I ran up to her. Still, when I got there she passed out, after that, we all found our way out after an hour but she still hadn't woken up. It looked like she hadn't eaten in days so we tried to find any food we could. Still, we had no luck... but then we heard the creaking of the floorboards and it scared the life out of all of us we picked Corey up and ran to the room we always got with our parents Room 240 we started walking faster because we didn't want to run into the thing that we had seen before. We finally got to the room and settled down and we remembered the snakes we had brought in case we got hungry so we gave some to Corey. She had finally woken up but didn't seem like herself because she was just scared of everything until I realized this wasn't Corey it was Hazel she had been left behind. Corey was still out there with that robot thing I ran out of the room faster than ever yelling for her we need to find her before that thing, I frantically yelled out for her but when I saw her lying in the grass with her body covered in blood and gashes it terrified me what had happened to the one person I loved more than myself I need to find what did this. Still, I had to get Corey to the room for the night or an animal out hurt her more or even kill her. we get back to the room Skye runs up to Corey to look at her wounds and says we need to disinfect this before it gets infected. after 30 minutes of trying to find the disinfectant, we found it but Corey didn't seem right she was shaking more than normal which scared me and the others more than ever we needed to see what was wrong but we were here for a week...
