If only I knew

Chapter Twenty-three

Then everybody started to chant his name. He chuckled in embarrassment before he turned around to take a picture with the audience in his background. Everybody started waving as hard and as high as they can.

If they know how many pictures I have of JC in my phone.. tsk tsk

Finally he kept his phone away.

Somebody handed him a megaphone. Everybody laughed.

"Hello hello.. I think this is a prop.." he said. But the fans were screaming so loud that he was hardly audible. Then somebody shouted keep quiet so that he could be heard.

"Sorry - I should have been out earlier -" He was ten minutes late. "I was waiting for Daiqiu.."

"Awww!" Everybody loves his puppies. And he brings them everywhere with him. He carries them in a Dior bag. Can you imagine.. I want to strangle him.. but he really love those babies.

In the end they swap a proper microphone for him.

He first thanked his fans for coming from all over the country, and for coming today. He always say he's not very eloquent and vocal, he seems to be stumbling over every sentence, but he's so cute.

Then the host, whoever he was, took over the show, asking him usual questions like what he has been up to, his new about to start filming drama. He told me he'll be flying to Fuzhou in two weeks time for his new drama. And a drama usually takes three to six months to shoot so he'll be in Fuzhou for a long while.

After that he was asked to sing. The fans were requesting for Imma get it. He sang it at the karaoke and danced for me too. But to watch his performing live, this was my first. And I was looking forward.

A bunch of black clothes dancers came to join him on stage. Looks like he came prepared.

As the music starts, he threw off his blazer and loosened his tie.

I must say I was very impressed. Now that I was watching his dance properly on a stage, I was very impressed. I have watched so much kpop performances and always think they are the best in the world. But this guy - my boyfriend, actually changed my thinking. And I'm so proud of him. Watching it live is definitely different from watching on TV.

I thought that's it when he finished. Then he said, today he felt like singing this next song. I saw his eyes searching the audience, probably for me, but he couldn't find me.

He chose to sing, Did anybody tell you..

I feel like he was singing it specially for me.

In the chorus it says, Did anybody told you I love you.. Did anybody told you that I care..

No.. I wanted to answer, with a laugh. I mean, well, he never said to me before he loves me.. we never said to each other before. I didn't think we have reached that stage yet. Anyway it is still a beautiful song, one of my favourite of his songs.

After the songs, there was more interview questions, then a cake was pushed out. Is it his birthday?? I thought his birthday is in October..? Did I remember wrongly?

I did not. Turns out the cake was for the success of his recent movie. Phew. I shall be stoned to death if I didn't remember my boyfriend's birthday. The cake was so big that everybody could get a share, afterwards after he leaves. They definitely don't want fans to be rushing up to him!

Finally, just before the event ends, somebody brought in the two puppies Xiao Dai and Li Qiu. Everybody squealed. He was definitely very happy when he saw them. He stood there with the doggies for photographs to be taken. Then another guy went up to take the cuties from him.
