Y/N focused, her brow furrowed in concentration as she channeled her energy. With a flick of her wrist, she sent a burst of gravitational force toward the bottles, shattering them one by one.

"Good," Bucky said, nodding in approval. "But let's try a more challenging arrangement."

As Y/N continued to practice, her aim improved with each attempt. But then, in a moment of distraction, her power surged unexpectedly, and she accidentally struck Bucky's metal arm.

The impact caused Bucky's arm to malfunction, and it fell to the ground with a clang. Y/N's eyes widened in horror as she rushed to his side, her hands trembling with guilt.

"Bucky, I'm so sorry," she exclaimed, her voice filled with concern. "Are you okay?"

Bucky winced slightly as he picked up his fallen arm, a mixture of surprise and amusement flickering in his eyes. "Well, that's a new one," he remarked, his tone laced with humor.

He called out to Jarvis, the AI sentient created by Tony Stark, asking if he could hook up the arm to their diagnosing machine and guide him through the process of reattaching it.

As Jarvis worked his magic, Bucky reassured Y/N that accidents happened and that he wasn't upset with her. In fact, he congratulated her on getting better at controlling her powers, though he couldn't resist teasing her about her aim.

"It seems your aim is still as terrible as ever," he quipped, a playful glint in his eyes.

Y/N couldn't help but laugh, relieved that Bucky wasn't angry with her. She joined in the banter, exchanging playful jabs as they worked together to fix the malfunctioning arm.

Meanwhile, Jarvis chimed in with witty comments, his voice echoing through the room. "Ah, the joys of training," he remarked. "Perhaps Miss Y/N's aim will improve if she focuses on her target, rather than handsome distractions."

Bucky raised an eyebrow, amusement flickering in his eyes. "Are you saying I'm a distraction, Jarvis?"

The AI's response was swift. "I'm merely observing, Mr. Barnes. After all, it's not every day one gets to spar with a skilled warrior like yourself."

Y/N couldn't help but blush at Jarvis's comment, grateful for the distraction from her earlier mishap. She shot Bucky a playful glance, her cheeks still flushed.

Bucky chuckled at her reaction, his gaze lingering on her with affection. "Looks like Jarvis has quite the sense of humor," he said, his tone warm.

-Shortly After-

With Jarvis's guidance, they managed to fix and reattach Bucky's malfunctioning arm, relief washing over both of them as they made their way to the command center. However, their moment of triumph was short-lived as the ship was suddenly jolted by a violent impact, sending them both tumbling to the floor of the hallway.

Bucky scrambled to his feet, his expression darkening with concern. "What the hell was that?" he exclaimed, his voice echoing through the corridor.

Y/N pushed herself up, her heart racing with adrenaline as she followed Bucky to the command center. The lights were flashing red, casting an eerie glow over the room, and on the big screen, they could see another ship hurtling toward them at breakneck speed.

Bucky's jaw clenched as he assessed the situation, his mind racing with possibilities. "Jarvis," he called out, his voice tense. "Do you think you can get us out of here?"

The AI's response was swift. "Shall I take over, Mr. Barnes?" Jarvis asked, his voice calm and composed.

Bucky rolled his eyes, his sarcasm evident. "Well, obviously," he retorted, his patience wearing thin.

Y/N felt a surge of panic rising within her as she struggled to calm her racing thoughts. She focused on her breathing, trying to steady herself as she buckled herself into the seat, just as Bucky had instructed.

Jarvis took control of the ship, expertly maneuvering them away from the oncoming vessel. But in the chaos, they were sent off course, drifting aimlessly in the vast expanse of space.

"We seem to be in the middle of nowhere," Jarvis announced, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "I'm having trouble pinpointing our exact location."

Bucky's brow furrowed as he considered their options. "Can you try to reach out to Tony Stark? Maybe he can help us figure out where we are." Jarvis gave no response. It was just silent. "Jarvis are you there? " Bucky asked but the room was still silent. They were fucked.

Panic set in as they struggled to make sense of their situation, their only lifeline to Jarvis now severed.

"We're just floating out here," Y/N whispered, her voice trembling with fear. "What are we going to do?"

Bucky's grip tightened on the controls as he tried to remain calm in the face of uncertainty. "We'll figure it out," he said, his voice steady despite the chaos around them. "We always do."
