"Fine by me!" Mina shouted, surprising everyone when she dashed right past them with her sights set in front of her.
Chuckling Kirishima ran after her. "She must really want to get out of the rain!"
"No shit. I think we all do." Bakugo scowled lifting himself up with a tree branch with Kaminari following right behind grunting. Leaning forward he saw Uraraka doing the same and without hesitation grabbed her arm to quickly help her up and over until she yanked her arm free, averting her gaze and instead lifted herself up.
'Alright so she's pissed.' He thought before their eyes saw a distant flash of lightning close by only able to make out their friends waiting for them a few feet away. "Come on!" Grabbing her wrist and dragging her along he felt her tug until she reluctantly followed as they ran to meet up with the group and quickly made it inside the now inky dark and empty streets with people equally running off to different parts to try and get out of the rain.
"Hey how about this place?" Kaminari shouted over the rain pointing to a small wooden sign. "Seems to be open."
"Couldn't hurt." Kirishima nodded gesturing for the girls to follow Kaminari up the stairs while Bakugo and himself followed after.
Upon entering the rather lively establishment with people chatting loudly, laughing, and singing songs they never heard off, they realized that compared to the weather outside this tavern would have to do for now.
"So, what do we do? Do we wait to be seated?" Kaminari whispered.
"No man, we just find ourselves some seats." Kirishima slapped him on the shoulder. "Any place that's not extremely packed so no one asked questions."
"Oh." Hearing Bakugo chuckle passing next to him Kaminari silently followed letting his eyes bounce off the walls in excitement until his eyes widened twice their size. "Uhm guys...you might wanna..." making a motion for them to cover themselves with their cloaks. Uraraka and Mina, still shivering and rubbing their arms stared at him before looking down at their clothes.
"EEP!" Without another thought they quicky wrapped their cloaks in front of them forgetting that after all this time they were still wearing their UA uniforms under their cloaks and now with the rain dripping of them, their wet hair plastered to their faces and their once white button shirts transparent.
"And you guys couldn't have said something before?!" Mina gawked while Uraraka turned a few different shades of red.
"How the hell should we have known?!" Bakugo barked with a flush to his cheeks. "It's not something I'm dying to see!"
"Gee thanks." Mina sarcastically rolled her eyes.
"We're sorry we really didn't know." Kirishima offered a sincere yet flustered apology.
With a low growl both girls reluctantly followed them to a nearly empty table but came to a complete stop when a rather tall guy with medium length blond hair tied back leaving several strands hanging in front of his forehead and green eyes stepped in front of them. Both caught off guard Mina and Uraraka saw a smile growing on his smug face.
But what caught their attention was an odd-looking robe covering his torso draped over his magenta coat with a strange-looking insignia on the left side. Maybe a Mantis? Come to think of it, there seemed to be a few of the people here who were wearing something of a similar design if maybe slightly altered or different colored.
"Why hey there my fair maidens! Bah-ha would you two lovely ladies have the pleasure of accompanying me on this fine night?"
"Say what?" Mina did a double take exchanging puzzled looks with her best friend. "You talking to us? fair maidens?"
"Bah-ha of course!" He grinned, leaning a little closer to them. "You two are only the fairest of all these women here."
"Stop." Mina covered her mouth trying not to laugh at never having heard something so cheesy.
"And may I say that that's a rather lovely mask you're wearing my dear."
"Ok...well we thank thou, but we maidens have a prior engagement we must attended too."
"What?" Uraraka tiled her head.
"I don't know!" Mina lifted her hands. "Sorry but we're not from here."
"Bah-ha is that so? Well, if you would allow me. I'd be more than happy to show you around."
"Oh." Uraraka nervously looked around when she felt him lift her hand to try and place a kiss on the back of it until someone roughly smacked it away.
"And who the hell are you?"
"Bakugo?" Parting her mouth in surprise she saw him standing next to her puffing out his chest and glaring at the stranger.
"My word. You know it's simply rude to bah-ha interrupt a man such as myself when courting two beautiful women such as these."
"Well, we are pretty." Mina snickered. "But you didn't tell us who you are."
"I would've assumed you already knew." He gestured to himself proudly. "I'm one of the magic knights after all. The names-"
"BAH-HA! There you are I thought that was you!"
"Now what?" Bakugo groaned turning to the loud voice that could be heard over the crowd of people but they were unable to see anything other than a small bird that seemed to be judging them already bopping along until his eyes finally landed on a rather short boy with bright green eyes, messy grey hair with bangs in front of his forehead held together by a black headband with what looked like a gold covered bull insignia. He was wearing a plain white tunic with a V-shaped collar underneath a dark blue jacket and matching pants also sporting a robe covering his torso, but unlike this other guy, his was black with the same bull insignia as his headband. "And who the hell are you?"
The boy looked at them before he gave a happy grin. "Hi, nice to meet ya. I'm Asta."
