[4] Do you still love him?

Did I hear it right? Break na talaga sila?

I stood up and lumapit ako sa kanya to give her a hug to and least console her. That's the least I could do for her. 

I know how it feels when the one you love suddenly broke up with you. It's not easy to open up lalo't masakit pa. I've been there.

After I pulled away from the hug, I saw Bea pouted her lips.

"Nasa'n yung sa 'kin?" Then opened her arms for a hug.

"Darling, ikaw ba 'yung broken?" I jokingly told her. She just rolled her eyes. 

I turned my attention back to Deanna.

"Sorry, darling. If hindi ka pa ready to tell us everything, okay lang." I assuringly told her.

"No, no, no. I think I need a breather, too. So, okay lang ba?" She said shaking her head.

Lumapit si Reg sa'min and asked for a group hug.

"Oo naman. Makikinig kami hanggang sa maunload mo na lahat." Reg told Deanna while caressing her back.

Kumalas na kaming apat sa pagkakayakap namin.

"Mas masarap mag-unload with some drinks, right Deans?" Bea suggested.

"Okay sige. True naman 'te Bei! Buti naisip mo ahahahahaha" Deanna replied as if it didn't, even the slightest idea of it pop into her mind

"Shocks! Cait and Reg, do you guys drink ba?" Bea asked anxiously.

"Oo darling pero occasionally lang. Tsaka if it's for Deanna, go ako." - I replied. Of course, Dean's one of the reasons kung bakit until now, nakakasurvive ako with the heartbreak I went through, I am still going through. 

Bea as she turns to Reg.

"Yes pero same with Cait, Hindi ako masyadong nag-iinom darlings. Pero handa akong magpakalasing tonight samahan ka lang, Poks!" - Ate Reg..

"Great! It would be fun if we'll also invite Pongs and kung sino pang gusto to have a few drinks."  She then again suggested

And there... We had drinks sa room pa 'rin namin ni Bei. It was her and Pongs who bought drinks and kami naman ni ate Reggie ang umorder ng food and something we can munch while having drinks.

Maddie, Jamie, ate Kat and Kim were here a while ago but decided to leave na since they don't want to drink too much.

Now, it's just Me, Bea, Reg, Ponggay and Deanna again. And ngayon kami na lang nandito, mas nakapag-unload na siya.

Marami na din kaming napag-usapan. From Reg's relationship status with her partner to Bea's  unrequited feelings for Jho. Hanggang sa Napunta na sa akin ang usapan.

"How 'bout you, darling? Mahal mo pa ba si Kr? It's only been more than a month since you two have broken up." Asked Deanna as she turns to me.

The three of them are now seriously looking at me waiting for me to answer.

Hindi ba pwede next question na? 😅

Bakit ako pa nakita mo Deans?

Medyo tinatamaan na din ako ng alak and my vision starts to get blurry but I still managed to give her a weak smile, trying to hide what I felt and still feeling since that day. 

Well, Bea probably sensed that I felt uneasy and hindi ko kayang sagutin as of now yung tanong so she had Deanna go to respective room and ate Reg assisted her.

I was about to clear out our table when Bea came back in and poured another beer on her glass.

"What are you doing, Bei?" I worriedly asked her. I know marami na rin s'yang nainom.

"I'll just finish this one bottle and I'll sleep na 'rin" She responded and reassured me

"Kaya mo pa ba?" I asked concerning. Maaga pa training namin bukas.

I won't let her drink alone. Alam kong hindi n'ya kakayanin if she'll finish the remaining bottle of beer just by herself. Inubos ko yung beer na natira sa baso ko then I poured another one...
Pinipigilan niya 'ko but when I glared at her, she wasn't able to say anything na.

Bea

When Deanna opened up about Jho kanina, I was a bit regretful and sad at the same time.

Well lots of what if's keep popping in to my mind. Pero tapos na 'yun eh. I'm happy for her now. And she doesn't affect me anymore. 

Unlike before.

"Cait" I called.

"Hmm"

"Do you still love him?" The question that I had been holding back for awhile now, suddenly tumbled out. 

That caught her off guard for sure. Alam ko she's not comfortable kanina when Deanna asked her. Pero baka she can answer it now that it's just me and her.

"Why do you ask?" She said puzzled and curious.

"Wala. Mahal mo pa nga s'ya? You'll be able to answer Dean's question now since tayo na lang naman nandito... I hope" I looked at her seriously.

She nodded slowly, obviously trying to keep her emotions in check. 

"But I am starting to learn to unlove him. Hindi ko na nga s'ya masyadong naaalala eh" She answered.

"Eh, how 'bout you? Do you still like Jho until now?" Balik n'yang tanong sa 'kin.

I took a deep breath to steady my emotions before I could answer. "No. 'Di ba sabi ko sa'yo I already like someone else? But I still do care for her, as my friend." I replied.

That's true naman talaga. I only want and see Jho now as a friend. And it's you who I want to be with now, Cait.

"Eh kamusta naman Bei? Did you already make a move?" She looked at me, her expression now shifting from the serious to a warm and light one.

"No. Not yet" I answered.

If I just can do it that simple. I don't want to rush you.

"Hina mo talaga! Mamaya maunahan ka na naman dyan" She teased and poured a beer in her glass and drank it straight.

"I don't think she's ready na eh" I said as she poured another beer on my glass naman

"But still. You can tell her how you feel with out rushing her. Malay mo, she's just waiting for you to confess to her" She said. 

I sat up straight. "Do you think so?" I asked and my eyes fixed at hers. 

"Malay mo 'di ba?" She shrugged and chuckled. "Uhmm Bei, may tanong ako sa 'yo. Matagal ko na sanang gusto itanong" She suddenly became serious.

I looked at her and ready to listen

"What is it?" - I curiously asked.

"No'ng nagkakalaban tayo sa court way back our UAAP days, May time ba na nainis ka sa 'kin?"

"OO! Lagi mo ba naman ako tina-trashtalk at sinusungitan e"  Teka. Maasar nga 'to

"Talaga?"

Hindi ko na napigilan. I burst into laughter. "Joke lang!" Then I did a peace sign.

She rolled my eyes at me and muntik pa 'kong hampasin sa braso eh. Gagawin pa 'kong bola eh.
