Dear friend,
I see you across the room, laughing and chatting with a close friend.
I try to catch your eye, but it doesn’t work.
You don’t see me.
Only a few years ago were we were at eachothers houses 24/7, always having parties and sleepovers.
Where did time go? What happened?
I never look away, I always feel broken on the inside, like.. I just lost a peice of me.
I dream about the day you come back.
And there’s always this one question that swims upon in my mind: What did I do?
Why are you giving me this silent treatment?
But I hope you know, I’m always here for you, I’m always willing to give you infinite chances. I just hope one day you feel that way about me to.
