Prologue

This story is inspired by the song 'Anaheim' by NIKI. Overall, 'Anaheim' is a song about a love that is complicated and filled with doubt and fears. A love that seems to be doomed from the beginning. Showcases a deep yearning of love that has yet to be fully realized.

Two teenagers were bound for each other yet too blind to realize it as fear and doubt kept filling their minds. Cherishing each time they're together but still unable to give themselves to each other, keeping their feelings bottled up.

They understand their partner yearns to become their home, still they struggle to locate the route to their embrace. Separating was their only way of growing up, and so they did.

Suddenly, they found themselves both achieving success, yet a sense of emptiness lingered within them. Despite crossing paths again after several years, their feelings remained unchanged. How will they resolve their situation?
