"Irene, is there something wrong?" Greg asked pagkalabas ng asawa sa banyo. But his wife just shook her head at tila abala sa paghahanda, "is something bothering you?" he added but Irene didn't give him a glance nor answer.

"Irene" tawag muli ni Greggy sa asawa, "sit down and I'll clean your wounds" Irene said. For Irene, nothing's wrong with happened. Sadyang nailang lang siya sa nangyari dahil sa gusto niya ng hiwalayan but she allowed herself to give in to Greggy.

"Oh, sorry" she mumbled continued cleaning her husband's wounds. "What were you thinking, driving while you were drunk," she said. I'm sorry" he answered.

Alam ni Irene na may kasalanan siya, but God knows that Greggy's not blaming his wife for his carelessness.

Irene heaved a sigh and pointed the bed, "now, rest" she said at tumayo sa couch para iligpit ang mga ginamit. Sumunod naman agad ang asawa and tucked himself in the bed. Hinintay niya si Irene matapos.

"Let's sleep," he said, tapping the space beside him. But Irene had other plans for the night. "No, I have papers to review. Matulog ka na" she answered at umupo sa couch as she turned on her laptop. Why are you working?" he asked.

Tinignan naman siya ng asawa, "kaya nga pinapatulog na kita para makapag-trabaho na ako" she retorted and continued typing on her laptop. "What am I? A toddler!?"

The next day, Greggy woke up early. Mahimbing pang natutulog ang asawa sa tabi. "Good morning" he whispered and kissed his wife's forehead. And since he couldn't go back to sleep anymore, he decided to get up and prepare breakfast.

"Tulog pa naman po eh." he smirked and placed some hash browns, bacon and mixed vegetables near the sink. "Aba, magkatabi na kayo matulog?" manang Yeda teased. Ngumiti naman si Greggy, "habang nagpapagaling lang po..." he replied and started pre-heating the pan that he'll be using.

"Sus, ituloy-tuloy niyo na 'yan" manang Yeda answered and helped Greggy prepare the other ingredients.

"One for you," he said as he placed the cup beside his wife's plate; "and one for me!" he added. "Ang aga mo naman magising," she remarked and sipped on her coffee. "Ikaw nga anong oras na natulog kagabi" Greggy retorted. Sinamaan naman siya ng tingin ng asawa, "oh, ang aga para sungitan mo 'ko ha. nagsasabi lang ako ng totoo" he chuckled and put some bacon and eggs on his wife's plate. "Bread or rice?" he asked, "just bread" Irene answered and watched her husband put a slice of bread on her plate.

"By the way, I'll be going out after lunch. Will just meet Liv and Maggie" pagpapaalam ni Irene sa asawa. Tinignan naman siya ni Greggy;

"You will drive? or magpapahatid ka kay manong Fred?" he asked and sliced some hashbrown on his plate. "I'll drive" Irene simply answered.
