***Niall's POV***

I went to my locker, and Lucy went to her's. I can't wait for tonight. I have so many things planned, and tonight was the night I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend. I put my locker combination, and put my books inside my locker. I grabbed my Math binder, and closed my locker.

I was walking in the direction of Lucy's locker, when I heard shouting. I turned the corner and saw something that will haunt me in my sleep. I stood there in shock, my brain not wanting to process what I was looking at. My legs started working before my brain did. "No, Lucy! Please stay awake! Don't leave me! Lucy! Please keep your eyes open!" I shouted. Tears were streaming from my eyes, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. If I lost Lucy, my life would end. There would be no point to living without her.

Her eyes opened a little, and I was holding her body in my arms. There was blood everywhere, and it was getting on me, but I didn't care. I just wanted Lucy to stay with me. "Lucy please, stay with me. Please don't leave. You're my everything, and I would be nothing without you." I begged. Her eyes closed, and her body became limp in my arms. "No. No, it can't be. No, you're not dead. I won't believe it." someone was trying to pull me away, but I wouldn't leave her side. I was sobbing by now. "No! She's not dead! No." I yelled, but by then end, it was a quiet whisper. I held my head in my hands, crying my heart out. She's not dead. I won't believe that. She's to important to me. I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend. She's not dead. Who would do that to her? She's amazing and strong, and beautiful. Only a cold hearted idiot would do that, and whatever idiot did this, will pay.

***Four days later***

It has been four days since the accident had happened at school. Those four days, were the worst days of my life. Lucy was in the hospital, for three of those days. Without her by my side, I felt incomplete, like half of me was missing. I absolutely hated feeling that way, and I never want to feel that way again.

When Lucy finally got to come home, I never let her leave my side. We were closer than we have ever been. Lucy and I were sitting on the couch watching TV, and her eyes would droop every know and then. "Lucy go ahead and lay down and rest. You look really tired."

"Ok." I lied down and took her in my arms. Her head snuggled up into my chest, and she wrapped her arms around me. "Lucy, I love you." I said, but she was already asleep.
